Between stolen kisses
The hits and misses
We create ourselves
this distorted image of what we
deserve
This façade to aid our acceptance
this thing we use to find any remanence
Of self confidence that has been ripped away
leaving our self importance at bay
Our own distortion of inner meaning
unable to see
what
and
who
we deserve
The nerve
Of ourselves saying we don't deserve
the best
and that we deserve everything less
than the most
it's not fair, how
being imperfect
makes you believe you're some how defective
and its not fair
that
when we get caught in a place with dont belong
with someone we don't belong
with
The only possible reasoning being
that
We accept the love we think we deserve
but you deserve the best
So accept it.
I was told to write a love poem,
But I don't know how it would go,
I've never been in love,
I wouldn't know the flow.

I have read about it,
and have seen it portrayed,
It is terrible and gorgeous,
It can make you need a zaid.

One thing I have learned is,
That even when your lost,
Love can warm you up,
It can melt away the frost.
Happy Valentines Day!

So young.
So eager to love.
So eager to be.
So eager to jump off and fly,
like a dove.

Don't go so fast.
No, stay right there.
Don't give your heart to someone
Who won't care.

The make-up you wear.
The way you fix your hair.
I still see the little girl in there.

Your eyes are alive.
They scream and fight.
But in the silence,
They're calm and bright.

Sleep.
Ill meet
When I'm dead.

Sleep.
I'll greet
Lying warm in bed.

Sleep.
Complete,
My thoughts thick as led.

Sleep,
Meet,
Wild notions in my head.

Sleep.
Defeat,
Problems my brain has bred.
Your'e my missing half
The part I need
The piece that fills
My carnal need

You are the one
That makes me be
The best man I
can ever be

I'll wait for you
If that's your wish
I'll do your bidding
Just for a kiss
I'll cross the sands
and swim the sea
I'll wait for you
If you wait for me

Together we make
One complete
We win together
Apart....defeat

You are my yin
and I your yang
You are the words
That my heart sang

I'll wait for you
If that's your wish
I'll do your bidding
Just for a kiss
I'll cross the sands
and swim the sea
I'll wait for you
If you wait for me

I love you more
Than one man should
I love you more
Than I thought I could

You are my finish
My one, my soul
Your heartfelt love
It makes me whole

I'll wait for you
If that's your wish
I'll do your bidding
Just for a kiss
I'll cross the sands
and swim the sea
I'll wait for you
If you wait for me
