There is a wilderness
A desert devoid of all thought
Empty of reason
Abandoned by all but despair
Wanted by no man
Shunned
And yet close counsel to many
Not here to be controlled
Placed upon earth for more
Written or my friend. Public with her permission

I was never all there!
I heard that so often.
He isn't listening, I couldn't hear you with all the noise.
I once heard a teacher describe me, He has an intermittent short circuit.
Thirty years ago I was just classed as uninterested or lazy or simply thick!
Sometimes it threw me back to reset.
I was lost and confused, you hugged me I lashed out.
I remember building a space station at School when others saw a freak.
Sometimes I would just jump to a different program, you call it ADHD now.
It was self defence.
But sometimes on special days it threw me into the future.
People spoke like I was in another time or another universe.
But none of you could see them.
I often asked them "Hello, who am I?"
They just smiled.
I don't know if I'm better or worse or understand more.
I no longer ask.

Through the bars a world outside
A prisoner to your own desire
You gave the gaoler lock and key
Gaze upon what he wants you to see
Other birds may sing their song
But not with you your voice has gone
So you put yourself in his cage
The world outside has gone away
You're fed what he seems fit
Not to nurture but to keep
So look outside the garrets bars
See the world for it has gone
Perhaps thats what you should do
Good luck with that he's killing you
For a ****.

Seems to be empathic and care for others
Makes one person wrong in the eyes of another.
How's that work when neither is your lover? Jealousy perhaps of nothing in fact.
To express approval, yet not for you?
What made you exclusive?
Your egos mood
To be kind to many is no crime.
To be nasty to one is, I think you will find.
No longer will I bother or show support
To those who take comfort in destroying that cause.

I wrote a love song for no one
No special person to hear it
But everyone who listend loved it
All saw themselves in it.

I wrote a love song for no one
I just tried to show my soul
But people just asked questions
Who was it for I wrote

I wrote a love song for no one
It was the way it ought to be
What I imagined love was
The way it should feel

I wrote a love song for no one
Just words like thoughts, mixed up
The highs and lows of wanting
The dreams of love and lust

So if you hear a love song
It may be special just to you
You can guess why it was written
But never know the truth

Ink flowed from the pen with such ferocity. He often was lost for words but not today. No today was different. The pen couldn't keep up with the words tumbling out of his headspace. The pen was thrown and the keypad assaulted. This was war. A war with himself. A war of lost words.

Hold your child as though they are the world

Be humbled by their actions

Amazed by their innocence

Proud of their endeavours.

Yet let them spread their wings

There is nothing they won't succeed in.

Little clones little clones
Hive minds not there own
Follow blindly not free
All oppressed none can see
Pity them don't judge their fear
If they question they disappear

Age
A child wishes to be older
A teenager tries to be grown up
An adult tries to stay youthful
The old ?
They just pray to stay
