To fight on.
To continue the battle that is under your skin.
To not give up, unless sacrificing for others.
To feel the pressure on you caving in.

Some days there will be bliss.
A relaxing peace.
A sweet happiness.
The calmness seems to never cease.

Danger comes to play in life.
We work passed it.
A danger we put in the past.
We see the past and must omit.

We shouldn't give up on anything,
No matter how small.
They will make us grow,
They will build up us all.

Some things you have to do,
No matter how bad or scary.
We move on and on,
Remembering to be wary.

Not all of our lives are fortunate.
I've heard of some amazing stories.
Hearing of people's triumphs,
And of their glories.

We keep another soul in us all.
Helping us fight.
Helping us unite.
Showing us the light.

Whenever you get a chance,
Tell your story.
You never know what could happen.
Remember that you are a quarry.

After the battle,
The view is horrid.
The walk a sad one.
Your head will feel torrid.

Why is the aftermath so bad?
Why do people go down the wrong path?
The stubborn ones who try to be heroes.
They felt what is selfisheness' wrath.

Not me.
I walk on down going my way.
I continue to move down road.
Making sure not to go astray.
Sometimes at night my mind goes every which way. I like just writing down what I am thinking about.
It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
  By the name of ANNABEL LEE;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.

I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea:
But we loved with a love that was more than love—
  I and my ANNABEL LEE;
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
  Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
  My beautiful ANNABEL LEE;
So that her highborn kinsmen came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.

The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
  Went envying her and me—
Yes!—that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my ANNABEL LEE.

But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we—
Of many far wiser than we—
And neither the angels in heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
  Of the beautiful ANNABEL LEE.

For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
  Of the beautiful ANNABEL LEE;
And the stars never rise but I see the bright eyes
  Of the beautiful ANNABEL LEE;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling, my darling, my life and my bride,
In her sepulchre there by the sea—
In her tomb by the side of the sea.
I've got a lot to get ready for.
I'm going to be going off soon.
I have college next year.
The end is beginning to loom.

High school will come to an end.
I can't believe it's almost done.
People I've know since I was a child,
The ones with which I've had so much fun.

Senior year came so fast.
It doesn't seem like this is real.
A surreal picture in my mind.
But my life time likes to steal.

The real world will hit me hard.
I'm not ready for it that's for sure.
I still wish I had more years with these people.
It's going to be a lot to endure.

I remember elementary school.
The fun times on the playground.
The shenanigans we all got into.
The time to end it has come around.

*I will miss everyone I've grown up with since I was 4 years old

Eye
Have you ever looked into someone's eye?
Some come as dashingly blue as a clear days sky
Others as green as the leaf on the mighty tree
Even some as dark as blindness seems to me
But did you know that every eye tells a story?
Some of happiness, others of sadness and worry
Throughout time people will pass by
But to say they know anyone would be a lie
Unless you really spent time and looked into their eye

She makes the sand,
the sand seep away.
Little locket on her chest,
with her steps a gentle sway.
Though her eyes cast
a tender gaze,
her fiery heart sets the sky ablaze.

Dry rain and dry puddles,
never will she stop.
'Til she stumbles to her knees,
the dusty ground, fiercely hot.
She cries out in pain
and laughs through tears,
a withered smile
of withered years.

She sees me.

Her faces relaxes,
her lungs give out,
her limbs betray her
and with one final strain she says:
*I can't hate.
Doors keep swinging,
Open, closed;
This body's reeling,
From what it's eyes been showed.

So close those eyes,
Close 'em real tight.
And listen....

Wait....

The doors keep swinging,
Open, closed;
You better keep walking,
Before you're left all alone.

But wait, listen closer,
You can here them all whisper.
As gold, glisten.

                                The Lover
                                                                 The Poet
                                                                                               The Sister

Many more hearts,
Four short of Five score,
Inexactly,
Right behind,
Passing through,

Open doors,

Following you.
From whips and chains
To whips and chains,
Earned by pigmentation.
Suffered through tribulation
Caused by the need for *******
Lead to the names of elders confusion
The game of deception
Lead to liberation.

A work for works sake,
Where all currency we make
Is born for the government to take.
A cycle of earnings and yearnings
Where earnings go to learnings,
And learnings go to younglings,
Younglings go to work,
And from work they live to buy things
And from these things come the taxings
Of all things to come.
With housing comes heating where water is needed.
These things to provide for the one to be marrying,
And a child she may be carrying which leads to more taxing,
And when this child grows and they don't need your waxing
So begins your pension and time for relaxing.
Living without fear of receiving the axing,

And your wrinkles now potent define all your moods
You may wish you had done what little other men could,
Stand tall where some other pioneer may have once stood,
But instead around the stump no room for a branch,
Locked in by the cycle
Left to pedal with no brakes.
You know him , as Mike.
She knows him, as Tim.
Same man diiferent name.
Same profile, with a few minor changes.
He's the hunter.
The man about town.

Scheming and dreaming to get ahead.
You list your interest.
And he caters his ways to yours.

He's On E-harmony.
Upon Matchmaker.com.
He amongst many social dating line.
Feeding lonely women smooth lines.

Women outnumber men by many.
So, they should be surprised by the facts.
They get played only one.

Tracking him down only take time.
Just notice the days, nights and time he comes around.

He's the hunter.
There's one in every town.
Looking for that lost in love soul to put her guard down.

I don't wish for you, it would not be fair.
I don't wish for us to fall in love, you might not want that.
I don't wish for my own happiness, that would be vain.

I wish that I could write beautiful poems for you.
I wish that you would cry after reading them.
I wish that you would keep them folded up in your back pocket.

I don't wish that you will be happy forever, where would that leave me.
I don't wish for all the money in the world, I could not buy talent.
I don't wish for a cure for cancer, there would still be death.

I wish that I could make you happy when it's raining.
I wish that money would cease to exist solving a pretty amount of problems.
I wish for a cure for life.
