What would I do to hold you -
More like
What wouldn't I do?
What wouldn't I give up
In order to feel your body
Next to mine

Burying you beside me
In love, affection
Compassion
And passion
To touch you
To hold you
To call you mine

And what wouldn't be
Sweeter than this?
For once, I would be happy
I would be in bliss
If I could do more than dream of your kiss

What wouldn't I do for you, baby?
I would do anything.
What couldn't I do for you, honey?
I can't do
anything.
they asked me if i was depressed
and i said no
because thats what they wanted to hear
He asked me if I had moved on
and i said yes
because that was what he needed to hear
she asked if i was okay
and i said no
but that wasn't what she chose to hear
and after a while
I cried for help
but no one was there to hear.
we grew up surrounded
by boys who taste like *****
and smell like cigars
or girls with too many playthings
and not enough decency
we grew up thinking that
no one will ever fall in love with us
because lust is often mistaken for a connection
and there are only words to get what you want
we grew up with empty bottles
and broken hearts
because love? Love is great when it lasts;
but it never lasts.
wrap me up in your embrace
kiss a smile onto my face
hold me close, don't let go
i cannot handle being alone
make me hot chocolate, warm me up
pour it into my favourite cup
whisper I love you in my ear
it's just for me, no one else can hear
play a film, put on our show
laugh with me, watch our love grow
hold my hand, cuddle me tight
ignite that spark you bring to my life
bring me closer, listen to my heart
I hope to heaven we'll never part.

He's not what others portray
I saw his real self today
As I looked through his eyes
Beneath his disguise
I concieved a different aura
One I've never discerned
It was enchanting like dawn
Forever let on
Known as dangerous and sovereign
But this morning was foreign
Beneath his piercing words, actions
He's longing to be
Like others with glee
To be known as an equal
Even just for a twinkle
Without the presence of the crowd
Of him, I am proud

Nameless
A warm summer night long ago,
the brightest star to the left of the moon
exploded into a shower of stardust
that, as it fell gently,
through the layers of the atmosphere,
combined with the rain,
and the laughs of lovers,
and butterfly wings.
And by the time it reached the ground,
it had materialized as the shimmer
in your bright blue eyes
that gazed at me
in a way that almost mended
the most broken parts
of my soul.
