You like beautiful women,
I admire them too.
Yet, when I point out a guy,
You’ll say he is gay.
You snicker at my music.
You sneer at my books.
You mess up with my cell phone,
as if yours, not mine.
You love horrific movies.
I would take a peek.
We watched Titanic once,
you fell asleep.
You grimace at my hair cut.
You shun my cousins.
You pass up many parties,
and didn’t ask me.
They say we do not belong,
different and all.
Still, you held on to my hand,
revealed me the way.
You kissed my laughter and tears,
heeded my ramblings.
You sacrificed many things,
that I’ve love you more.
Bear with me, my beloved.
Come grow old with me.
We’ll have our differences,
and always our respect.
I desire your sarcasm.
I want your nonsense.
Because without them from you,
Never can I irritate you.
