When your rose of love was dying,
I took care of it, watered it to make it bloom
You smiled, regained the happiness you'd lost,
touched my heart, grabbed me in love, then blamed me for loving!

When you were feeling lonely in tears,
I held your hand and walked with you in the rain
to make you feel not alone, to show someone loves you
You felt my love, then pushed me away like a stranger!

You know I still love you,
as we were in love before—
In dreams, in hopes, we promised to be together
Yet still, you don’t look at me and won’t heal my sore!

Days are passing, and some are gone,
We’re running, though some have moved on

We are lazy souls, unlike the sun,
We’re walking, though we need to run

We lie and cheat ourselves each day;
We’re devils with nasty vibes at play

We will be questioned for our dark shadows,
And punished, cast through fiery windows...

I am thinking to invite you for a cup of tea

      i  imagine how
                            slow
                                    the teapot will boil
                                                              on the stove

the steam will colonize the air in the room ~
                                                          conquer the silent walls

politely
we’ll sit near the window at the little oak table
will
    support our elbows,
                                    hands ~  the chins,
    face-to-face,
                          like a frozen perfume
                                                            in the air,
reading into each other's eyes
                                                  ~ the dreams

after,
watching how the leaves are falling
                                                                as if fainting
