Life?
A heart that beats?
A pulse that pounds?
Foolishness!!
You have to live to be alive

Chloe-123-x
They stabbed her
Gnawed at her body
Feeding off her every
insecurity.

They punched her
Repeatedly, rhymically
Beating the life and soul
away.

They thought it was funny
They thought it was clever
They thought it was cool

They knew it wasn't correct.

They thought that
taunting with someone's life was a joke
That it was hilarious
to tip somebody over the edge
That it was satisfying
to bring someone down

That it was clever; the way they forced their victim
to
drown.

If you ignore a
- person
- topic
- conversation
for long enough
can you
- fool
- force
- coax
yourself into believing that
- it
- he
- she
didn't ever really matter
anyway?

In order to combat the increasing rise of poems
revolving around love if not death if not tragedy

In order to combat the remarkably unremarkable accounts
of commonplace things like war and depression and destiny

In order to combat the stereotypically stereotypical stereotypes
that are behind our society's long awaited demise:

This poem is fondly dedicated to Johnlock fanfic.

Prodigy
To be good,
to be caring,
to be kind,
to be loving -

I try.

To be gentle,
to be sympathetic,
to be humble,
to be energetic-

I try.

To be smart,
to be helpful,
to be present,
to be hopeful-

I try.

To be fun,
to respect,
to be happy,
to be perfect-

I try.

I try.

*I fail.

Shut up.
They said.
That should be enough.
They said.
Saying shut up.
Will be more than enough.
To stop the bullies.
For good.
They said.
Just tell them to.
Shut up.
They said.
And they'll leave you alone.
We promise.
*They said.
They lied.
