On charges of merely
Refuting its merits
Refusing to pay
Further into
Its tariffs

Integrate
The shadow
You will be
With me
Lucidity
And unto its becoming
One
The egos
Interlinked
Could be
Increasingly
Less prone to war
Less likely to
Project it more
Endure the grips of psyche
Tightening
Sense of self
Awareness
Heightening
Frightening
When you think it through
That I am merely
Thoughts of you

For they once
Roamed these halls
Innocent
Learning
To be better humans
And into them
Turning
But suddenly yearning
For home
In an instant
For mommy and daddy
Could not be more distant
When bursting forth
Barrel blasts
Shatter reality,
Not yet a decade
Of fragile morality
Splattered in
Evil
Incarnate
Depravity
All the unvarnished
Unraveling
Tragedy,
Tragically
Yet again
Weaponized,
Minimized
