THE wild wing beat from bloom to bloom
With magic, dazzling revelry
At noon, a sight on which to swoon
In resplendent majesty
And divinest beauty
Come hither close: sit on my palm
Enamoured of thy charm

Bade that I would praise supreme
As long as birds sing to the sun
Wings paint with pallet got from dream
Two stain glass panels -- one
God decorates for fun
Scatters critters world around
Till tapestry done -- gold web spun

Little sparrow - do not fly
But stay aside my stoop - and sing
Your warm - effulgent - songs of joy
That give your life - to everything
Sparrow - sparrow in the air
Wings like arrows - feathers rare
Tuneful auras - shroud her song
A rhapsody around - along
No grey reason - restrains rhyme
As it spills -throughout time
Sparrow - sparrow in the air
What wry spark - is hiding there?
Sparrow swoops - amidst the bloom
'Twas summer in the shires
At noon - a sight on which to swoon
On golden wing - aspires
Searching wide - for nature's boon
Blood run - with her fires
Bird wise - ancient - as the rune
Beauty sung to lyres

Dream but one dream for me in thy drifting mind
Regard me as the stars, as heaven's pearl
As hazy, day wanes, night drenched blue, refined
Ferry visions, lucid dream upon a beam, of this girl
Patient awaits her Love, to seize his soul:
Would magic, fires of Heaven adorn thy sleep?
Dream ocean fathomless, 'nowt quench the thirst
As floats on water maiden, passion nursed
Aggrieved by ****** troubles, of endless deep
Yet her Heart a flower, of rosy revelry
Beget uneasy in twilight to the man
Of her passion's honey offers him a dram
Dream! Of me, a pearl atop a clam
Beget to you by God, with loving palm

This Love is lost; it's over now
Baleful I hath seen the score
Illusion of Heart's revelry
That Time hath shown the door

The winter moon a jaded pearl
Treads of men defile a girl
Passion once rancorous and riled
Hath ****** died after her Heart smiled

And from the mountain blue I saw
Her slow eclipse and bade "no more"
From swollen, sobbing, longing lips
I long lament that slow eclipse

Sorrows deep hath haunted you
Thy summer hath been defiled
Time hath turned thy heart to blue
Tears triumph, vanquish smile

'Neath brave and courageous facade
A tender heart beat cowed and scared
Time hath turned that soul's abade
To blue, to grey, from rosy red

Dear the one who braved time's burn
Dearest, deem you ever true
But I will keep as time doth turn
Your heart from red, to blue

A quiet mind - a quiet heart
'Twas autumn of the soul
A burnished leaf quickening in drift
Then rustling - stirred the fall
A riot most illustrious
Trilled from the tuneful tongue
Of free bird on the wizened bough
Love begging to be sung

I wore my love upon my sleeve
but ******* bear the pain
love then was not my soul's reprieve
'twas only my demise, disdain
which I dared voice, a poorest choice
friends left me cold in rain
and now those friends, but memories
bade goodbye in this refrain

I held him in highest esteem
despite my tone of spite
which only for the loss of love
who set my heart alight
our minds had kissed in wholesome tryst
but to other he take flight
so I drift upon the mist
in the dying of the light

I yet still wear love on my sleeve
let ******* knock me down
ones to gloat rather than grieve
as my misery buzz round town
it may be time to up and leave
but for heartache I have grown
the bigger heart? worn on the sleeve
as the judges deign to frown.
