I dream
I dream of us listening
To the radio and audiobooks
Curled up, cuddled, holding tight
In comfy cushioned crannies, nooks
Deep in dream
I wistful, sigh
dream of our fingers entwined
Imagine stomachs full, livers wined
I dream
A dream of revelry
To have your heart beating
Next to me
I dream
Our minds are waltzing, one
Having fun
Under the sun
I write to you
You write to me
About your dreams
In dream I see
Your soul laid bare
The candor there
I dream
Of beauty sweet, so rare
And giving you perfect care

' Twas cruel to peep at lover's fate
As reaper crept upon their gate
The roses, wilting, as he glide
With eerie repose in his stride

Through the garden, in the house
A creak, you stir, begin to rouse
Affront with ghastly hooded shadow
For which now I a weeping widow

Did dream ferry you to heaven?
Was death a peace when it happened?
Did you walk through the veil that appeared?
To other world of perfect care?

My love I died long ago in my head
My ardour vanished, my passion spent
Brood in woe, scribe this lament
For neglecting to have mentioned what you meant

The songs of wizened, ancient lands
Doth ring on distant shores and sands
As Love the gift of Heaven doth send
Sublime rhyme, the bard transcend
Fathoming rainbows, touching stars
Begetting tender, sonorous bars
As Gods rage fury blaze in wars
Retold to history sung to lyres
For wisdom Sappho hath aspired
In awe of her splendour I hath desired
Poetess in Greece's mind embed
A fulsome passion flame of luscious red

Native genius running wild
Whirs in the mind of the inner child

The things I cherish are artful creatures
Nature's most exquisite teachers
To which the saints and bards are preachers
In iridescent, bright, immortal hour
World imbued with deep and cosmic power
Of evolution, through time showers
The dance of nature, drift in a dream
Which come in streams upon a beam
Life's truth vivid and supreme
Love is life's Dean, picture the scene
All hearts serene

All time stood still but yet within
Her elements: incessant motion
Creation's laws nature's devotion
Nature more illustrious than sin
Ten thousand suns blazed on in song
In realms untouched by man's endeavour
Where sage go waltzing through forever
With their brightest magic on
All time stood still in the expanse
Majesty of multitudes embodied
Whose bodies pirouette, I study
Enamoured of celestial romance

A passion rare and ever sweet
Hurled me on bruised and broken feet
To Love's new zenith, by Angels fathomed first
Not oceans pure and rare could quench the thirst
Regaled by beatitudes as thine
Heal divine wounds of spirit's brine
Borne aloft burnished by colours of desire
Sight of which set my soul on fire
To heights of heaven all hearts do aspire
Singing mantras to ancient lyre
Cross stars we waltz like outlaw cats
With wanton wit authority thwart
In future years bereft of chains
Bereft of sad and melancholy refrains
I see them crawl, free, take flight
Bask in Love, eternal delight
Beat demons crept with stealth at night
Upon you with blades, half-hid 'neath devil's sheath
With vision suffice to ignite
A poet's heart to soar, take flight
It was "for Love!" the poet's cried
As passion in them flourished wide
Rare as care and ever sweet
Worlds with love and light replete

Electric sky, electric sky,
Sparks of heaven scattergun whirl by,
As vibrant cavalry of thunderbolts,
Fury through which our hearts shot,
Darkling moon above my cot,
That the Grace of Heaven hath taught,
Zeus rage in purity of thought,
Thunder mightier than la Mort,
Light that follows angels bonny,
Makes the sky a gothic sunny,
In which fury of creation appear,
Brings celestial veil ever near,
Beyond which visions soar and sear,
Majesty and passion there,
Paint with flair, by Zeus' stare.
