How can we live in a world where black lives don't matter ?
A world where police can brutally ****** innocent people and no action will be taken on it.
How do people support that ?
How can people support the system that has took so many lives just because of their race ?!
**** the system, **** the disrespect.
we want justice and we want it now !

to remember me.
makaila Feb 2020
what i can remember is a blur, and i know they say that if you really love something that you couldn’t possibly forget it..
i truly wish i wasn’t forgetting your features or how you kissed me every lonely night..
how you healed me, even kissed my scars.
i know you probably remembered me as one remembers their favorite song.. over and over again, they listen to it and and it’s stuck in their head.
until it’s not. it’s gone and forgotten. maybe a few years later you’ll listen to it and remember how much you loved that song..

you want her.
makaila May 2020
it’s the worst type of pain..
when they don’t remember anything, but the memories haunt you.
when the chaos is so loud, but you’re in a silent room.
what price am i willing to pay to be with you ?
when all i get is a text every few months, knowing you'll go home to her every night while i'm left without an explanation..

sex is the smell
makaila May 2020
your house always had a comforting smell, but i never knew what it was until one night.
***.
i knew why it smelled like that..
you used me; you never intended to give me love
just ***.

Gone
makaila Jan 2019
love me, hate me
drown me away in a blood pool of pain.
i can't sway you away,
my true beloved gone like mice,
we go together like fire and ice.
my heart is frail like glass,
i wish this feeling could pass.
the only thing holding me back is the feeling he lacks.
alone is what he leaves me,
besides the pitiful memories of when he used to tease me.
i often can't breathe, begging you please,
for everything we used to be.
my casket lie ahead,
for i am soon to be dead.
words fill this page,
like water fills my brain.
the painful stain of you not to be washed away,
for fear you might love me someday.
