Earth-shine in your loved one's eyes
Is all you have for memories;
Moonlight died beneath their lids,
When death did his deliveries.

And now the world's a colder place,
Though sun still shines above it,
And moon comes too, and looks upon
The graves, were made with loving.

And though the years will pass the same;
Though weeds and grass obscure it,
Their names on trembling lips will live-
As long as we endure it.

"Run your pulse across my tongue
Pour your love into me
I thirst for you"......

Veils of gossamer silk
Spin in shades of night
Submissive acquiescence
Smoulders bare feet ...

Iridescence dances in captivated eyes,
Lips full
Releasing,
Breath
Licking the shimmer-gleam,
Anointing skin
Ravishing enchantment...

He trembles her heat
Scorching flesh wrapped bone;
Joining fantasies played against silky thighs
Arousing,
Capturing her allure;
Seductively
Manipulating the tenderness of her need ...

Night drips beauty from a silvern moon,
Nakedness meets
Open desire
Firm against softness
His lips seeking,
Tasting
Vanilla tears
Melting on his tongue like snowflakes
Touching passion's fire...

Fingertip moments
Pulsing rhythms;
Aching depths craving
Urgency
Sinking into moist folds
Undulating movements
Swollen, locked around a flowing pearl...

Mesmerising connections sparkle,
Thrusts
Gasp breathlessly,
Arching into body quivers;
Nails claw the spine
Symbolic...

She is
Weakness to his will........
On your exhale alone...I am one with you...where dreams and reality collide....... J

Beautiful mists', colour us,
falling; Silently,
wrapped beneath
dusk covers.
The ice queen's been sent packing... for now!
My words jump ship
A careless mutiny
Do they not realize their weight?
My words fly, from lips to sky
Little birds of stone
They gather in the depths of
The ocean
Brought to shore by a jealous storm
Years later
You forget, I am a fickle girl
Flush with promises to stay
But
My words are not walls
Instead they are the smoke
Veiling my escape

oh me oh my
I had
drowned in
those ocean currents
they call eyes.

Slipped away,
not a word outspoken.
Strangled with glacier hands,
fingertips of salt and
thunder cottoning my
eardrums.

You wanted to save me,
but I could not tell you
over the salt eroding
my throat,

that you were the one drowning me.

My mother once told me
                        "Never run from your problems!"
but here I am
escaped to a smaller town
and it seems all
my problems
have left me alone.

the day will come when what I say
will scatter you or make you stay
but I'll not fear no matter what
and keep my mouth from closing shut
the truth will flow in ebbs and tides
from all the depths of my insides
and let this be the test of love
that what is uttered bares a dove
see, it will fly around our hearts
restore in full these body parts
in preparation for the change
we undergo in our final stage
so tire not, oh moving tongue
as you reveal who we're among
title taken from Paolo Nutini's Last Request
It's 40 days
I haven't slept
I cannot seem
To find a bed
That tucks away
My soul's unrest
I wander on
A desert stretch
The sand removes
My saltiness
I'm dry and pale
These feet attest
And true fatigue
I'll reach still yet
To drink might quell
The emptiness
But fever plagues
My hollow chest
In seeking dreams
The stones collect
And I find hope
Inside my head
To carry on
I must ingest
The very thoughts
My mind has bred

Regrets

Hilda
Lavender rose, thy petals broken,
So hap'ly crushed beneath careless feet.
Damask perfume breathes melody sweet
From thy bruised heart a weeping token.

Upon thoughts so drear my spirit dwells,
Shaken with guilt and hopeless despair;
Mourning to know harsh words and grim cares
Break cherished ones to death's angry knells.

No more able to shout defiance
Of their wild laughter or moods forlorn
When once from our grasp the rose be torn,
Instead of clamour - empty silence.

Gold blends with strawberry hues
deepening into crimson
Kaleidoscope of colours
Shimmering fresh hope.
