Lilac, Lilac purple are thy sweet-pretty blooms,
Beautiful to be on hats lilac plumes.

Lilac, Lilac sweet is thy perfume,
Thy petals were made on a fairy loom.

Lilac, Lilac, purple are thy sweet-pretty blooms,
Lilac, Lilac, thy sweet odour fills the room!

Brrr. . . it is cold and drear,
But it makes me happy to be with you (Mamma) my dear!

O poor the thrush,
That must stay outside in the cold inside the brush.

Icicles hang from the trees
The snow keeps falling with joy
For she's pleased to keep us company
The frozen pond is where
The water birds of Summer used to swim
Too frozen now for such sport
But the frozen water provides
Ice-skating fun for you and me
Oh such beauty, even such a humble poet as me
Is at a loss for words
Words that better describe
My feelings for Winter
But I am content
Just being a simple poet

Oft in the stilly night,
E're slumber's chain has bound me,
Fond Memory brings the light,
     Of another day around me;
           The smiles, the tears,
            Of boyhood years,
The words o love then spoken;
     The eyes that shone
      Now dimmed and gone,
The cheerful hearts now broken.

When I remember all
    The friends so linked together,
I see around me fall,
   Like leaves in wintry weather,
       I feel like one
         Who treads alone
Some banquet hall deserted,
           Whose lights are fled,
And all but me departed.
         Whose garlands dead,
    Thus in the stilly night,
E're slumbers chain has bound me,
Sad Memory brings the light
   Of other days around me.

O God, our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come,
Our shelter from the stormy blast , And our eternal home!

Beneath the shadow of Thy throne Still may we dwell secure;
Sufficient is Thine arm alone, And our defense is sure.

Before the hills in order stood, Or earth received her frame,
From everlasting Thou art God; To endless years the same.

A thousand ages, in Thy sight, Are but as an evening gone;
Short as the watch that ends the night, Before the rising sun.

O God our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come;
Be Thou our guide while life shall last, And our eternal home!

You were a stray
now you are a housecat with your two children
I remember how yesterday me and my Mamma got you and your two children in the house and closed the door
I remember sitting on my chair behind the door while my Mamma lured you and your children in with tuna on a plate and milk in a bowl I was hoping. . . .waiting. . . . .praying that you and your two children would come in and you did
"Now" said my Mamma which meant to close the door and I did
how scared they were at first for they were not used to their new surroundings but then they calmed down
after that four of our other cats were taken away which made me weep on the inside and cry on the outside my heart still bleeds from this wound and it is hard to feel happy anymore all I feel like doing is crying
and then I think of Onyx Stray and her two children and her older daughter Miriam and I feel a little ease of pain in feeling happy that they're no longer out in the cold
but I still feel sad in thinking about how Onyx's older son, Cookie (who was from the same litter of kitty children as Miriam)
I think of how he was scared of being in that carrier and how he hollered until  he calmed down and of how the papers were signed so that they could be adopted by somebody else who hopefully would treat them with kindness
I remember how my Mamma wanted to keep Harold (formerly our ******* cat) and how I wrongly decided that was the one she wanted to give away we cried on each other's shoulders and I asked her to forgive me for wrongly deciding by accident that was who she wanted to give away to the Humane Society
tears trickle down my cheeks and my heart pains me even now while I write this poem and I think of how we gave them away

*~Marian~
This actually happened yesterday! All of what I wrote is true! This happened and I wish it wouldn't have. I don't think the pain will ever leave me and I don't know what to do. So forgive me but I just had to let out all of my emotions.

Trees grow on the hillside,
Of the mountain wide,
The sky is the same colour as the lake;
I love coming here for my and their sakes!

Trees growing here and there,
And God's watercolor of blue in the air,
I love coming here;
And watching the lake with water cold and clear!

I love to come here in the pictures I see,
Because this place is dear to me,
I love the mountains of beauty;
This place was painted beautifully.

The light of the sun dances here and there,
And sweetly dances through the air,
With such freedom that it sets me in a trance;
No wonder they call this place Opabin Light Dance!

As your brush
Gently, softly strokes
The white canvas on easel
The paint swirls delicately
Ingeniously you mix the rainbow
Of colors on your magical palette
Blending them all together to create your scene
You could create a whole new world of wonder
Just for me and you
And I often wonder what I would paint
If I were such an artist as you
And held all the magical illusions
Right at my fingertips
But since I am not an artist
I can still soak—drink in
The beauty only you can give birth to
The worlds of imagination
Only you can see
And paint upon canvas
For a poetess to see!

Yes, we shall walk through ferns as tall as our waist
And step over the beige colored mushrooms
We'll sit down and dream beside the creek
And let the melody of a cello and harp duet
Refresh us and give us strength anew
We'll live inside that old-fashioned home
With lovely wallpaper in nearly every room
We'll sit down together on the comfortable window seat
Overlooking the dreamy farm with tall, tall grass
And rustic fences here and there in those verdant pastures
We can sip cold Dr. Pepper on the privacy of our verandah
Enjoying the silence together--me and you
We'll stroll through gardens full of iris blooms
Take walks down our flowering cherry tree lane
Walk inside the beautiful forest with wild honeysuckle vines
And periwinkles carpeting the forest floor
Yes, we'll wander aimlessly all day
Maybe walk a few dogs and ride some horses
This is our dream that may never come true
But we'll keep on wishing for it--me and you

In a Doctor's room
Full of lights
There I was...
Blood.
Pain.
Pressure.
Numbness.
Needles.
I wanted to leave
I wanted to scream
I wanted to just vanish
I wanted to cry
And I did cry
I couldn't help it
I was a "cry baby".
And I didn't mean to

Pain…pain is all she can feel
Pain…pain is breaking her heart
All she can think about doing
Is palliating the pain that stings her body
She wants to numb herself
She wants to escape reality
All she wants is to be left alone
She cries bitter, brokenhearted tears
Will the pain that laces the fragments
Of her beautiful heart ever leave?
Will she ever heal?
Will she ever mend?
Her wings are broken
Their butterfly dust drifts away on the wind
At night she tries to whisper
Words of comfort to herself
But her little world is crashing…by and by
Or so it seems to her
She sobs, and she cries
Tears no one can console
She wishes to ease the pain
More than anything else
But every time she tries
She slips up and hurts herself
And the wounds cut even deeper
This is one wound she may bare
A whole lifetime

Dedicated to my Mom, who is undergoing the pain of watching her frail sister, Joy slowly die…or at least that is what we think may happen, all too sadly. I thought I might write some kind of poem to try and comfort/console my Mom if I possibly can! Sweet Mom, I hope you enjoy it. <3 Sorry for the pain you’re going through. While I cannot relate, as I have no siblings, I can sense your pain and feel it reverberate in my own heart as well…seeing the way you cried today, made me wanna cry with you. You poor girl, I feel so sorry for you…I truly, truly sincerely do, Mommy. Feel better soon. *Hugs & Kisses to Mom*

Pain, pain is all I feel
Sharp, excruciating pain
Pain, pain please go away!
I am so miserable right now
Pain, pain is all I feel
And I cannot stop it
Unless I eat something
So I can have my pain medicine
Pain, pain you're out of my control
Pain, pain if there would be anything
That I could hate, it would be you
You're hurting me, and I cannot stop you
Pain, pain is all I feel
Will it ever stop?

Cool morning breezes blow through the trees,
Green and fresh are their dew-kissed leaves,
Sunrays slant through the trees and hit the ground;
The music of peace is all around.
A dove skims across the beautiful river beautifully,
Soft little breezes blow the trees sweetly,
Little ferns are growing;
And with happiness my cheeks are glowing.
I love the beautiful forest that I see,
God created this earth so beautifully,
All of the birds do sing;
Of this beautiful Peaceful Morning.

But nothing comes to my mind
As I look out at the rain

Wrapped around with a boa of purple,
Watch her light brown eyes with mischief sparkle,
The piano plays songs for her feline beauty;
Her tortoiseshell face is looking at me.
Oh she is such a beautiful cat,
I called her name and there she sat,
She is so pretty in purple;
Her beautiful voice begins to purr.
She is such a sweetheart dear,
At her beauty I shed a tear,
She is the most beautiful feline ever;
And I shall love her forever!

"Kitty, kitty, kitty!"
My foot kicks and rolls
The sparkly pompom ball
Colored dark green on the carpet
Heart racing with energy coursing
Through my veins
Where are you, Princess?
Ah, finally found you, girl
Underneath mother's writing desk
What a naughty, yet cute thing to do
My sweet pea and beautiful Lady
You are so adorable
Your shiny coat of silver
Seems to glitter
In the brightness
Of the dining room light

She looked into her handheld mirror
Every day just staring at the mirror
Clutched in her beautiful grey paw
Sometimes trying on satin pink ribbons
Tying them around her satin ears
But most of her time was spent
Sitting on her golden throne
Giving commands and orders
To her young mistress
And there she'd sit stately on her throne
With her pink quartz tiara
Placed upon her furry head
Garnet wand clutched in her paw

Marian Mar 2013
A soft answer turneth
away wrath: but grievous
words stir up anger.
2 The tongue of the wise useth
knowledge aright: but the mouth
of fools poureth out foolishness.
3 The eyes of the Lord are
in every place beholding the evil
and the good.
4 A wholesome tongue is a tree
if life: but perverseness therein is
a breach in the spirit.
5 A fool despiseth his father's
instruction: but he the regardeth
reproof is prudent.
6 In the house of the righteous
is much treasure: but in the
revenues of the wicked is trouble.
7 The lips of the wise disperse
knowledge: but the heart of the
foolish doeth not so.
8 The sacrifice of the wicked
is an abomination to the Lord: but
the prayer of the upright is his delight.
9 The way of the wicked is an
abomination unto the Lord: but
he loveth him that followeth
after righteousness.
10 Correction is grievous unto
him that forsaketh the way: and
he that hateth reproof shall die.
11 Hell and destruction are
before the Lord: how much more
then the hearts of the children of
men?
12 A scorner loveth not one
that reproveth him: neither will he
go unto the wise.
13 A merry heart maketh a
cheerful countenance: but by
sorrow of the heart the spirit is
broken.
14 The heart of them that hath
understanding seeketh knowledge:
but the mouth of fools
feedeth on foolishness.
15 All the days of the afflicted
are evil: but he that is of a merry
heart hath a continual feast.
16 Better is little with the fear
of the Lord than great treasure
and trouble therewith.
17 Better is a dinner of herbs
where love is, than a stalled ox
and hatred therewith.
18 A wrathful man stirreth up
strife: but he that is slow to anger
appeaseth strife.
19 The way of the slothful man
is as an hedge of thorns: but the
way of the righteous is made
plain.
20 A wise son maketh a glad
father: but a foolish man
despiseth his mother.
21 Folly is joy to him that is
destitute of wisdom: but a man of
understanding walketh uprightly.
22 Without counsel purposes
are disappointed: but in the
multitude of counsellors they are
established.
23 A man hath joy by the
answer of his mouth: and a word
spoken in due season, how good
is it!
24 The way of life is above to
the wise, that he may depart from
hell beneath.
25 The Lord will destroy the
house of the proud: but he will
establish the border of the
widow.
26 The thoughts of the wicked
are an abomination to the Lord:
but the words of the pure are
pleasant words.
27 He that is greedy of gain
troubleth his own house; but he
that hateth gifts shall live.
28 The heart of the righteous
studieth to answer: but the
mouth of the wicked poureth out
evil things.
29 The Lord is far from the
wicked: but he heareth the
prayer of the righteous.
30 The light of the eyes rejoiceth
the heart: and a good report
maketh the bones fat.
31 The ear that heareth the
reproof of life abideth among the
wise.
32 He that refuseth instruction
despiseth his own soul: but he
that heareth reproof getteth
understanding.
33 The fear of the Lord is the
instruction of wisdom; and before
honour is humility.
Marian Mar 2013
My son, if thou wilt receive
my words, and hide my
commandments with thee:
2 So that thou incline thine ear
unto wisdom, and apply thine
heart to understanding;
3 Yea, if thou criest after
knowledge, and liftest up thy
voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver,
and searchest for her as for hid
treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand
the fear of the Lord, and find the
knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord giveth wisdom:
out of his mouth cometh
knowledge and understanding.
7 He layeth up sound wisdom
for the righteous: he is a buckler
to them that walk uprightly.
8 He keepeth the paths of
judgment, and preserveth the way of
his saints.
9 Then shalt thou understand
righteousness, and judgment, and
equity; yea, every good path.
10 When wisdom entereth into
thine heart, and knowledge is
pleasant unto thy soul;
11 Discretion shall preserve
thee, understanding shall keep
thee:
12 To deliver thee from the way
of the evil man, from the man that
speaketh froward things;
13 Who leave the paths of
uprightness to walk in the ways of
darkness;
14 Who rejoice to do evil, and
delight in the frowardness of the
wicked;
15 Whose ways are crooked,
and they froward in their paths:
16 To deliver thee from the
strange woman, even from the
stranger which flattereth with her
words;
17 Which forsaketh the guide
of her youth, and forgetteth the
covenant of her God.
18 For her house inclineth
unto death, and her paths unto the
dead.
19 None that go onto her return
again, neither take they hold of
the paths of life.
20 That thou mayest walk in the
way of good men, and keep the
paths of the righteous.
21 For the upright shall dwell in
the land, and the perfect shall
remain in it.
22 But the wicked shall be cut
off from the earth, and the
transgressors shall be rooted out
of it.
Marian Mar 2013
Blessed is the man that
walketh not in the counsel of
the ungodly, nor standeth in the
way of sinners, nor sitteth in the
seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of
the Lord; and in his law doth he
meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree
planted by the rivers of water,
that bringeth forth his furit in his
season; his leaf also shall not
wither; and whatsoever he doeth
shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but
are like the chaff which the wind
driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall
not stand in the judgment, nor
sinners in the congregation of the
righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the
way of the righteous: but the way
of the ungodly shall perish.
Marian Sep 2013
The Lord shall hear the prayer
Of the righteous, and He shall

Marian Sep 2013
Bless the Lord, O my soul.
O Lord my God, thou art
very great; thou art clothed with
honour and majesty.
2 Who coverest thyself with
light as with a garment: who
stretchest out the heavens like a
curtain:
3 Who layeth the beams of his
chambers in the waters: who
maketh the clouds his chariot:
who walketh upon the wings of
the wind:
4 Who maketh his angels
spirits; his ministers a flaming fire.
5 Who laid the foundations of
the earth, that it should not be
removed for ever.
6 Thou coveredst it with the
deep as with a garment: the
waters stood above the
mountains.
7 At thy rebuke they fled; at the
voice of thy thunder they hasted
away.
8 They go up by the mountains;
they go down by the valleys unto
the place which thou hast
founded for them.
9 Thou hast set a bound that
they may not pass over; that they
turn not again to cover the earth.
10 He sendeth the springs unto
the valleys, which run among  the
hills.
11 They give drink to every
beast of the field: the wild *****
quench their thirst.
12 By them shall the fowls of
the heaven have their habitation,
which sing among the branches.
13 He watereth the hills from his
chambers: the earth is satisfied
with the fruit of thy works.
14 He causeth the grass to grow
for the cattle, and herb for the
service of man: that he may bring
forth food out of the earth;
15 And wine that maketh glad
the heart of man, and oil to make
his face to shine, and bread which
strengtheneth man's heart.
16 The trees of the Lord are full
of sap; the cedars of Leb'-a-non,
which he hath planted;
17 Where the birds make their
nests: as for the stork, the fir trees
are her house.
18 The high hills are a refuge for
the wild goats; and the rocks for
the conies.
19 He appointed the moon for
seasons: the sun knoweth his
going down.
20 Thou makest darkness, and
it is night: wherein all the beasts
of the forest do creep forth.
21 The young lions roar after
their prey, and seek their meat
from God.
22 The sun ariseth, they gather
themselves together, and lay them
down in their dens.
23 Man goeth forth unto his
work and to his labour until the
evening.
24 O Lord, how manifold are
thy works! in wisdom hast thou
made them all: the earth is full of
thy riches.
25 So is this great and wide sea,
wherein are things creeping
innumerable, both small and great
beasts.
26 There go the ships: there is
that leviathan, whom thou hast
made to play therein.
27 These wait all upon thee;
that thou mayest give them their
meat in due season.
28 That thou givest them they
gather: thou openest thine hand,
they are filled with good.
29 Thou hidest thy face, they are
troubled: thou takest away their
breath, they die, and return to
their dust.
30 Thou sendest forth thy
spirit, they are created: and thou
renewest the face of the earth.
31 The glory of the Lord shall
endure for ever: the Lord shall
rejoice in his works.
32 He looketh on the earth, and
it trembleth: he toucheth the
hills, and they smoke.
33 I will sing unto the Lord as
long as I live: I will sing praise
to my God while I have my
being.
34 My meditation of him shall
be sweet: I will be glad in the
Lord.
35 Let the sinners be consumed
out of the earth, and let the
wicked be no more. Bless thou the
Lord, O my soul. Praise ye the
Lord.
Marian Mar 2013
I will lift up mine eyes unto
the hills, from whence cometh
my help.
2 My help cometh from the
Lord, which made heaven and
earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to
be moved: he that keepeth thee
will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel
shall neither slumber nor
sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the
Lord is thy shade upon thy right
hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee
by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve
thee from all evil: he shall preserve
thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy
going out and thy coming in from
this time forth, and even for
evermore.
Marian Mar 2013
Psalm 142*

I cried unto the Lord with my
voice: with my voice unto the
Lord did I make my supplication.

2 I poured out my complaint
before him; I shewed before him
my trouble.

3 When my spirit was overwhelmed
within me, then thou
knewest my path. In the way
wherein I walked have they privily
laid a snare for me.

4 I looked on *my
right hand,
and behold but there was no man
that would know me: refuge
failed me; no man cared for my
soul.

5 I cried unto thee, O Lord: I
said, Thou art my refuge and my
portion in the land of the living.

6 Attend unto my cry; for I am
brought very low: deliver me from
my persecutors; for they are
stronger than I.

7 Bring my soul out of prison,
that I may praise thy name: the
righteous shall compass me
about; for thou shalt deal bountifully
with me.
Marian Aug 2013
Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the
Lord a new song, and his praise
in the congregation of saints.
2 Let Israel rejoice in him that
made him: let the children of Zion be
joyful in their King.
3 Let them praise his name in the
dance: let them sing praises unto him
with the timbrel and harp.
4 For the Lord taketh pleasure
in his people: he will beautify the
meek with salvation.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory:
let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be
in their mouth, and a twoedged sword
in their hand:
7 To execute vengeance upon the
heathen, and punishments upon the
people:
8 To bind their kings with chains,
and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 To execute upon them the
judgment written: this honour have all his
saints. Praise ye the Lord.

Psalm 150**

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise
God in his sanctuary: praise
him in the firmament of his
power.

2 Praise him for his mighty
acts: praise him according to his
excellent greatness.

3 Praise him with the sound of
the trumpet: praise him with the
psaltery and harp.

4 Praise him with the timbrel
and dance: praise him with
stringed instruments and organs.

5 Praise him upon the loud
cymbals: praise him upon the
high sounding cymbals.

6 Let every thing that hath
breath praise the Lord. Praise ye
the Lord.

The heavens declare the glory
of God; and the firmament
sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth
speech, and night unto night
sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor
language, where their voice is not
heard.
4 Their line is gone out
through all the earth, and their
words to the end of the world. In
them hath he set a tabernacle for
the sun.
5 Which is as a bridegroom
coming out of his chamber, and
rejoiceth as a strong man to run a
race.
6 His going forth is from the
end of the heaven, and his
circuit unto the ends of it: and
there is nothing hid from the
heat thereof.
7 The law of the Lord is
perfect, converting the soul, the
testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the Lord are
right, rejoicing the heart, the
commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is clean,
enduring for ever: the judgments
of the Lord are true and righteous
altogether.
10 More to be desired are they
than gold, yea, than much fine
gold: sweeter also than honey and
the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is thy servant
warned: and in keeping of
them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his
errors? cleanse thou me from
secret faults.
13 Keep back thy servant also
from presumptions sins; let them
not have dominion over me: then
shall I be upright, and I shall be
innocent from the great
transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight, O
Lord, my strength, and my
redeemer.
Marian Sep 2013
O sing praises unto the Lord.
The heart of the righteous shall
Continually praise Him.
2 Clap your hands, and be joyful
for what He hath done for us.
3 Praise Him morning and evening,
And when thou sleepest, let thine
Heart praise Him.
4 O praise the Lord for His
Everlasting mercy, and for the
Tenderness He hath bestowed upon us.

God bless!!!
Marian Jun 2013
Hear me when I cry, O God
of my righteousness, thou
hast enlarged me when I was in
distress, have mercy upon me,
and hear my prayer.
2 O ye sons of men, how long
will ye turn my glory into shame?
how long will ye love vanity, and
seek after leasing? Selah.
3 But know that the Lord hath
set apart him that is godly for
himself: the Lord will hear when I
call unto him.
4 Stand in awe, and sin not:
commune with your own heart
upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
5 Offer the sacrifices of
righteousness and put your trust in
the Lord.
6 There be many that say, Who
will shew us any good? Lord, lift
thou up the light of thy
countenance upon us.
7 Thou hast put gladness in
my heart, more than in the time
that their  corn and wine
increased.
8 I will both lay me down in
peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord,
only makest me dwell in safety.
Marian Jun 2013
The mighty God, even the
Lord, hath spoken, and
called the earth from the rising
of the sun unto the going down
thereof.
2 Out of Zion, the perfection of
beauty, God hath shined.
3 Our God shall come, and
shall not keep silence: a fire shall
devour before him, and it shall be
very tempestuous round about
him.
4 He shall call to the heavens
from above, and to the earth, that
he may judge his people.
5 Gather my saints together
unto me; those that have made a
covenant with me by sacrifice.
6 And the heavens shall
declare his righteousness: for God
is judge himself. Selah.
7 Hear, O my people, and I will
speak, O Israel, and I will testify
against thee: I am God, even thy
God.
8 I will not reprove thee for
thy sacrifices or thy burnt
offerings, to have been continually
before me.
9 I will take no bullock out of
thy house, nor he goats out of thy
folds.
10 For every beast of the forest
is mine, and the cattle upon a
thousand hills.
11 I know all the fowls of the
mountains: and the wild beasts of
the field are mine.
12 If I were hungry, I would not
tell thee: for the world is mine,
and the fulness thereof.
13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or
drink the blood of goats?
14 Offer unto God thanksgiving;
and pay thy vows unto the
most High:
15 And call upon me in the day
of trouble: I will deliver thee, and
thou shalt glorify me.
16 But unto the wicked God saith,
What hast thou to do to declare my
statutes, or that thou shouldest
take my covenant in thy mouth?
17 Seeing thou hatest
instruction, and castest my words behind
thee.
18 When thou sawest a thief,
then thou consentedst with him,
and hast been partaker with
adulterers.
19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil,
and thy tongue frameth deceit.
20 Thou sittest and speakest
against thy brother; thou
slanderest thine own mother's son.
21 These things hast thou done,
and I kept silence; thou thoughtest
that I was altogether such an
one
as thyself: but I will reprove
thee, and set them in order
before thine eyes.
22 Now consider this, ye that
forget God, lest I tear you in
pieces, and there be none to
deliver.
23 Whoso offereth praise
glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth
his conversation aright will I
shew the salvation of God.
Marian Mar 2013
O Lord our Lord, how excellent
is thy name in all the earth!
who hast set thy glory above the
heavens.
2 Out of the mouth of babes and
sucklings thou hast ordained strength
because of thine enemies, that thou
mightest still the enemy and the
avenger.
3 When I consider thy heavens,
the work of thy fingers, the moon and
the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art
mindful of him? and the son of man,
that thou visited him?
5 For thou hast made him a little
lower than the angels, and hast
crowned him with glory and honour.
6 Thou madest him to have
dominion over the works of thy hands;
thou hast put all things under his
feet:
7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and
the beasts of the field;
8 The fowl of the air, and the fish
lf the sea, and whatsoever passeth
through the paths of the seas.
9 O Lord our Lord, how excellent
is thy name in all the earth!
Marian Jun 2013
He that dwelleth in the
secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow
of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is
my refuge and my fortress: my
God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee
from the snare of the fowler, and
from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his
feathers, and under his wings
shalt thou trust: his truth shall be
thy
shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for
the terror by night; nor for the
arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that
walketh in darkness; nor for
the destruction that wasteth at
noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy
side, and ten thousand at thy right
hand; but it shall not come nigh
thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt
thou behold and see the reward of
the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the
Lord, which is my refuge even
the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall
thee, neither shall any plague
come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels
charge over thee, to keep thee in
all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in
their hands, lest thou dash thy
foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the
lion and adder: the young lion
and the dragon shalt thou
trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love
upon me, therefore will I deliver
him; I will set him on high,
because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I
will answer him: I will be with
him in trouble; I will deliver him,
and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy
him, and shew him my salvation.

Purrfection is in the smallest
Warmest purrs
Which kittens love to give
And it is a sign that they are happy
Purrfection is in the smallest kitten
Which brings joy to its new life
And joy to the world
Purrfection is in the smallest mouse
Which cats and kittens love to pounce upon
Quite playfully
Purrfection is dinnertime
When kittens and cats are called to eat
Their daily meals
And gracefully lick their lips
With each dainty bite
Purrfection is in their adventerous spirit
When they love to wander
But of course it isn't purrfection
When they roam too far away from home
Or never return at all
Purrfection is dancing with the butterflies
And pouncing upon green grass
Which all cats all ages love to do
Purrfection is laying upon master
Or mistress's lap
Or basking in the sun
Purrfection to cats is all things
And for me it's the simplest things

You used to sit on my bed,
I wish you were here!

Another poem for Pusah who died October 7, 2012. It doesn't seem that long but then again it does. I'll miss him as long as I live!!

Pitter-patter drip,
I hear the rain on my roof,
Singing me to sleep.

How very pretty,
I just love the pretty sound,
I just love the rain!!

Don't you love it too?
I just love it's lullaby,
Singing me to sleep.

So full of colours,
It is so very pretty,
I love the rainbows!

Every colour,
Works it's way into the sky,
Till you hang up high!

An assortment bright,
So very full of colour,
And full of luck too.

Bright bold colours
And every kind of colours there are
Rainbows stand for luck
And I wish there were more Rainbows
Because of their beautiful colours
I love Rainbows
Because I have always loved
Each and every colour there is
I wish I could sit among the clouds
And sit up there for hours
Watching out for Rainbows
And if I were to find
One
I would sit upon it
And lay there
And I'd have the most
Beautiful and sweet dreams
That anyone ever had
Bright bold colours
I would sit up there
And watch the whole wide world
And the Rainbow Fairies
Would come up there
And visit with me
Their wings of bold colours
Flutter in the breeze
And I would tell
Them that
I love Rainbows

Mists of beauty
Sprinkles of rain
Rain-covered leaves
On the beautiful trees
Raindrops on the green grass
Raindrops everywhere
Raindrops on the lacy ferns
Raindrops everywhere I turn
Pines and evergreens
And lovely cedars sweet
Saturated in raindrop kisses
Such a lovely prelude
The misty forest
Is enchanted
This I say
This forest
Is enchanted
No matter what
This is where Fairies live
This is where Fairies dance
This is where their wings flutter
In the ever blowing breeze
This is where the harps
Are played
This is where their songs are sung
This is where the Fairies harp
Plays nocturnal melodies
And graceful notes
This is where my Fairies live
