A Key hangs around my neck
On a pink ribbon

As well as writing

My imagination runs wild

Describes what I see

For they all are different Keys

Castles way up in the clouds
Of the majestic sky,
Unicorns galloping
Up near rainbows,
Doves and horses gladly accepting their freedom
Fairies with their magical wands,
Gnomes sitting under trees,
Elves roaming Fairyland,
Dream worlds full of illusions,
Mirrors reflecting a girl or boy on the other side,
Swans floating upon lakes with their mate,
Oceans with their beauty of eternity,
Wells waiting for wishes to be made
Or coins to be tossed down them,
Never ending paths waiting for travelers,
Halls that go on forever,
Day dreams and childhood wishes,
Enchanted Cottages of beauty,
Pristine forests where Fairies live and dwell,
Waltzing flowers on a lone hill,
Forgotten treasures under the ocean,
Lone vast deserts,
Dew-drops on sun-kissed flowers,
This is my world of fantasy, dreams,
Illusions and imagination.

She was a small old-fashioned girl
And she was crying
I can't remember why
But she was
Her chin rested on her knees
And I went up to her to comfort her

She didn't say much
She had a hair bow in her hair
And if I correctly recall her dress was burgundy

And the doll was dancing
Along with her mistress
And the were dancing
Barefooted on the hardwood floor
It was a dismal and shabby room
The floor was dark
It was old-fashioned though
In the time when girls
Would wear hair ribbons
In their hair and lace on their dresses
It was kind of sad
And I could cry
In looking back
'Til finally I looked in the room
But I can't remember
Whether they had vanished
Or whether they were
Standing still as a statue

The creek is forever flowing and singing

A full Moon hangs in the sky
And the Fairies are dancing in the Enchanted Forest

The Moon's like a lantern putting forth light

I am helping her out of the mirror
The girl who's crying...
The girl who looks like me
Her eyes are red from crying
And her heart is still raw
Trying its best to heal
But not doing so
The girl a sad expression
The girl with tears sparkling in her eyes
She is a lot like me
As I help her out of the mirror
I ask her what is the matter
Her reply was "I can't tell you"
I nodded my head and understood
I had felt that kind of pain before...
It hurt too much for her to tell me
How often I had felt that and so I understand
Another reason was because it was hard
For her to speak when she was crying
So very hard
Tears dripping from her chin
Heart ache too much to bear
Heart still raw from bleeding
Yet still containing love
More love than ever before
She can't help it
When I put my arm around her
To comfort her in her grief

Part II

Glass from the broken windows lies upon the floor
From somewhere there's the sound of a creaking door
Cracked wallpaper covered in dust
Silver trays that once held perfume now has turned to rust

Dusty books with yellowed pages
Have been sitting on those shelves for ages
Never to be read again
In the oil lamp's glow so cheerful and dim

Cracked paintings in dusty frames
Nothing here will ever be the same
Strange bygone memories fill the air
And all I can do is stare

And think back to when this house was pretty
And everything was charming and whitty
And of when somebody played the piano
And who used to fill the vase with flowers from the meadow

Part I

No can opener runs to hurry kittens to their meal
No more broken hearts to heal
They shall ne'er again pounce on a mouse
Or climb upon the roof on top of the house

No more kittens shall again sing
No more shall the macaws fly upon their colourful wings
No more shall they sing and cry
For they all here did die

Vines and bushes twist around the house
From inside there's the sound of a mouse
They bit what paper was there
Dust and cobwebs cover that chair

The vase that was once full of flowers now lies shattered
The stained curtains at the windows are tattered
The piano keys will never play those hymns again

As I stood on a bridge made of stone
I stared at the creek below
And looked around me at the beauty
Lots of trees
And the sky of blue
The beautiful majestic mountains
And the creek with it's stepping stones
Everywhere I looked I saw beauty
The breezes danced
And blew my brown hair
And softly stroked my fair cheeks
How majestic everything seemed
Lost in the veil of another world
One just as beautiful as this one
Yet quite different
Because this is the world I see
In pictures or in my head
I can see it so clearly in my mind
And how I wish I were really there

Hidden from the busy roads

The beauty of Autumn
With it's beautiful country lanes
And Autumnal paths
Enchanted Autumn Forests
Are where the Autumnal Fairies dwell
In the coolness of the Forest
And they will sometimes fall asleep
On brittle Autumn leaves
The leaves of Autumn fall to the ground
Dancing and twirling as they fall
Then spinning on the ground
Round and round they dance
And skip on those paths
And country lanes
The cold bitter winds
Dance through the trees
That stand tall with pride
In that beautiful Forest
When I took
A walk in Autumn
