Crossing Over
Marcus McNutt Apr 2015
While laying in my bed, awake? I said.
Am I alive or am I simply dead?
Lost in oblivion I see the dark.
On my neck I can feel the Devil's Mark.
Locked in this coffin, time does not pass by. Here I am wishing for another try.
Crossing over from light to dark, my time is gone.
In this unclear game, I play a pawn.
I'll just lay here six feet deep.
Forever gone, forever lost, I sleep.

Who I Am
Marcus McNutt Apr 2015
Time will wither, and fade away.
Forever here you will lay.
Falling into the black.
Gone, but not just this day.

Darkness bleeds through the crack.
The heart lost, not coming back.
With this sadness they will drown.
Family remember what they now lack.

Who will find it, bound?
Digging deep down.
This life will now divert.
Will he wear this crown?

Down under all this dirt.
Hearts broken and feelings hurt.
The life, his body can no longer exert
My soul, now it will spurt.
