it has been [43] days since i missed a dose
of you
             strange to think
                                         that you have always choked
on me

You don't get that I don't like you
I gave you hints that were obvious

You called me childish
How the **** am I childish?!
I said I didn't feel like talking
And you call me childish over that??!!

Yes I'm rude to you
Only because you annoy me in a way I can't explain
Everything you do annoys me
I tolerate you at best
I try to be polite, but I just can't help but feel angry or frustrated when I'm around you

I unfriended and blocked you on Facebook!
That should of told you I don't like you
If I don't want to be friends with you on Facebook what makes you think I would want to be your friend in real life?

Yes I know of you, but I don't know you and I don't plan to
Yes I know why you went to jail
Cause you killed someone
And yes I don't care
Don't give a ****

I honestly don't get why you never got that impression
Yet, you have a conversation with me about the way I've been acting towards you
You talked, and I sort of listened
You told me about being in jail (which I don't care about)
You told me that you don't take disrespect in any way, shape, or form ( And I'm just thinking shut the **** up please)
Yet, you didn't
You talked the whole car ride (which was the longest fifteen minutes of my life)

You're my uncle yes, but I don't have to like you
You were never there (And I understand why)
And when I first met you I knew, oh how I ******* knew I wouldn't like you
I knew even before we formally met that I wouldn't like you
We talked on the phone twice before we met
I knew then, and I know now that I don't like you
If you demand respect, then fine
I'll be polite as I can, and make fast to cut every conversation you try to have with me
I know I'm being a bit harsh, but I simply don't CARE
I'll try to be as polite and nice and I'll try to be as straightforward as I can
And maybe soon you'll get the impression I've been giving off
Or maybe I'll just tell you
I don't plan on changing how I feel about you
Though you might try to change it
But the best I can do is tolerate you, and be as polite and as nice as I can
As you can see I don't like my uncle. He just got out of the federal prison Sept. 27 2013. He's been in jail since before I was born. I'm hoping to finally tell him my feelings about him. He's nice to me but it's just the simple fact that I don't like him.

tomorrow is not promised

only predicted

but do not blame the weather man

if it is not 75 and breezy

hurricanes come along

so always carry an umbrella

but don't always walk around with it open

or else you'll never meet the sun

i don't care
i don't care
i don't care
i say with a straight face
as i click past pictures
on facebook
i don't care
i don't care
i don't care
but it hurts
alittle
that feeling keeps biting
how can i make it go away?

Joseph Childress
By Joseph Childress

Sometimes, brainstorms
Are calming enough
The flower expected
Doesn't even have to blossom
The muddy water
Is a composition itself
Deep music waves
With Earth to keep you grounded
These wetlands
Can be depressing
Your impression
Becomes obvious
In the form of footprints
Imprints from bare feet
Rare feats are expected
But walking
When the rain storms
Is sometimes, calming enough

If I could paint my face in womanhood
I'd curl my lashes; stain my lips bright red.
Then finally I'd be the girl I should,
But I'll just let you see my flaws instead.

The day I found I could drink coffee straight
Was when I knew I'd lost my innocence
Because children cannot appreciate
When life's bitter.  They crave benevolence.

The one tree I could never climb mocks me
From my front lawn and drops sap on my car.
If I could reach the top, then I would see
Exactly how small people really are.

I'm groping for the light.  I've lost my way.
It's still dark in the middle of the day.
Sonnet
The angels are stooping
Above your bed;
They weary of trooping
With the whimpering dead.
God's laughing in Heaven
To see you so good;
The Sailing Seven
are gay with His mood.
I sigh that kiss you,
For I must own
That I shall miss you
When you have grown.

Anri Atreides
The world around us
is full of discretion.
Judgement by race,
by sexuality,
by the way that you think.

How much better the world would be
if we all stayed open
and saw the world the same way we did
when we were only kids.

Because children take anything,
however big
however small
however different,

And see it all as equal
and special, in its own way.

A child also takes anything sad
and decides to look around to see
beauty in all things.

A dog chasing its tail,
a leaf fluttering in the breeze,
even a funny sounding goose
waddling around asking for bread.

They take the mistakes they make,
and try not to make that mistake again.
They fix what they've broken,
they hug whoever they've hurt,
and they always say sorry,
even if it wasn't entirely they're fault.

We could learn a lot from children.
With the way they think
and the way they act
even the way  they clean up their messes.

The world would be a better place.
If we could only stop ourselves from growing up.
The first and most famous poems from my old account. I thought I'd share again.
Enjoy

Heartbreak

It's like broken ribs
It's excruciating, breath taking
But no one but you knows it
Not another soul can feel it

It cripples you, drains you
It takes all it can from you
And just when you think it's moved on
It stabs you yet again

As if to tell you
It's best to just give in
It likes to make you cry, weep
Your joy, it likes to take and keep

You'll want to give up
For that is its goal
It'll take your will to live
And crush it without a second glance

It's the product of too much evil
Sometimes too much love
It comes along when you want it least
For many of us, the pain may never cease
