You were always a challenge,
But I loved wiping the smug looks off your face.
You shot me a half grin when you said
So, are you gonna kiss me, stupid?
And with a racing mind and shaking arms,
I leaned toward the driver's seat,
And kissed you deeper than I thought was possible.
You plunged into the deepest part of me,
And swam through my rivers of blood,
Reaching every corner of my sickly body.

When I broke away from your soft lips,
I sat over my heart, my ribs crushing the damaged *****.
And before I could catch my breath,
You lunged toward the passenger seat.
And kissed me even deeper than before.

In utter disbelief, I opened my eyes for only a moment.
While our lips still danced in a close embrace.
The sun's rays streamed through your hair,
And illuminated the wispy, blonde strands.
And spread warmth to my numb limbs.

Ever since that fateful day,
I only saw the sun's rays
And felt their warmth,
When you were near.

eternity
just a wave of the hand
just a casual thought to bind you to
to this fate for eternity

because you
thought it would be all like yesterday
but the road never remains the same
you can retrace your steps
but you can never go back once you've gone
never be where you once stood
and she looks at you different today
she looks like a stranger to me more and more
as her own road has become strange to her

today was filled with finding ourselfs a new home
but its really a search to find the old one
to try and recapture what we had
the world is before me
a new sky
a new sun
even the air is strange to me

three am
we find a parking lot
and just for a quick laugh
we find a shopping cart
she climbs in and i push faster and faster
trying to catch the stars aflame
trying to beat the rust that moves over the heart
trying to beat the slow misery of moving apart

she wont bed anyone but me
i will never speak to the girl she hates serenity ever again
we fell asleep after making love
slow and careful love
careful to show each-other we haven't lost each-other yet

Slowly but surely broking your wings
Procrastination,sloth are his deceit
Making you believe that your life is infinite
While its running out like a hourglass

This is what is needed for it to cease

What is Love?

Spending countless hours with your significant other.
Walking hand by hand, feet in the sand, smiling at each other.
You enjoy ones company but, what is love?
Is it the feeling in your gut whenever she approaches?
Or is the simple look in his eyes in which leaves in hypnosis?

See I don’t know what love is, I don’t even know if in it.
But I do know that I never want to lose you.
In this game of life I don’t even care if I win it.
As long as I have you, my world is complete
You’ll never have to worry about any woman to compete.
For my heart for now is yours.

Maybe one day I’ll figure it out, but for now I’m scared.
Never been this close to this emotion this feeling I swear.
To make love and to love is so different
Both needing effort and patience.
With time, the longevity and after effect can be different.
But with faith and the belief, anything can be achieved.
And yet, I'm left with these questions,

What is love, how do we love, and who do we love?
Questions of the century.
