Here is one verse.  I want to collaborate with some of my HP friends and maybe others will do the same, so add another verse in the comments section and I will put it all together however fits best!

I must admit
It's difficult to explain
What it is that drives me
What I keep in my brain
What keeps you from besting me
What's keeping me sane
Now it's your turn!

Angels above fly high above
Looking down with endless love
They see our pain and strife
Helping us throughout our life
When darkest days our to be seen
On angels wings are where to lean
Many times we forget
Our faith becomes broken and split
Yet still they watch and hold us right
Never letting us relent in our fight
When we are weak they make us strong
When were low they sing their song
We stumble we falter and sometimes fall
But just they’re presence can heal all
With sorrow agony and defeat
They’re voice we hear soft and sweet
So never forget when you are low
To look up and see their glow

Where jungles stood
Great cities rise
On desert wasteland
New farmland lies
Where man aspired
To rearrange
He dreamed a dream
And made a change
His mind is such
A shaping force
You wonder why
Man treds a course
Indulging pride
Enslaved to greed
For inexorably
They lead
To mercenary depths
So deep
His God must sit alone
And weep
As man improves
Each varied part
Except for his
Primeval heart

Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
   Old Time is still a-flying;
And this same flower that smiles today
   Tomorrow will be dying.

The glorious lamp of heaven, the sun,
   The higher he’s a-getting,
The sooner will his race be run,
   And nearer he’s to setting.

That age is best which is the first,
   When youth and blood are warmer;
But being spent, the worse, and worst
   Times still succeed the former.

Then be not coy, but use your time,
   And while ye may, go marry;
For having lost but once your prime,
   You may forever tarry.

I am trying to say
"Goodbye"
The only way I know.

I am trying to say
"I Love you"
Before I need to go.

Accept my apologies for
leaving you so sad...
Inside

For soon I'm bound to go
Our friendship and Love will
Abide.

I am trying to say
"I Love You"
and
"Goodbye"
I am trying to say..........

May God be with you Brother.

Written with tears
not ink
for my Brother D,
the Poet
10-10-10
Most difficult piece
I have written.
Twelve hours to focus
And redefine one's abilities
To chew one's toungue and cheek
To bounce one's knee
There will be no sleeping
Because sleep has become obsolete
An outdated human ritual
Just begging to be cleansed

Twelve hours to come down
To rediscover one's limitations
To nurse one's swollen tounge and cheek
And to rest one's aching body
There will be no sleeping
Because sleep is never an option
An incessant dream
Just begging to begin
