lush wild grown embrace
birds in concert overjoice in rapture song of home
rabbits burrow too she says in sanctuary here
with circle soft of sunlit grass
and gratitude this ease may last

greet
life
pulsing  
deep in wounds
when scars reopen raw
resist reflexive closure
with unflinching presence
as portal beacons timely truth

with membranes permeable
respond with will to live

Prokaryote so simple
no nucleus  no lack
nearing food evading harm
Membrane assures survival
  expanding one to two

process mystery
When shall we admit
our brains do not direct
our intricate survival

in depth of dark I  seek your heat
    with curves enfolding angles
    as front meets back with sweet relief
    to sleep in breathing tandem this
     my chamber of renewal

solitude in sight
   waving sunlit grass hearkens

choice is made
