I'm a slave to the rhythm a slave to the beat.
The heartbeat of the earth demands it.
The rhythm demands I fall to my feet.
The rhythm beats out a tattoo on my heart.
Life beats out a rhythm it demands a lot of those who follow it, We dance to it.
Let the rhythm be my guidance, let me resound on this forsaken sacred ground.
I'm a soul looking to be whole rhythm is the hidden magic i am a slave to it.

A lonely soldier in the war field of mind,
Fights with pen not a sword cause his hands are tied.
Fighting for freedom all freedoms,
Even freedom of mind.
The soldier fights for his flag, for his country, for his life.
The dream of a soldier lies beyond the battlefield,
You can see it in their eyes.
Take a moment to stop and pray, for it is they who fight and bleed and die, everyday.
The soldier keeps us safe from things to come, by being on the front line where there might be none.
Those that never were one shall never know the glory of that special comradeship for they were brothers in arms.

See the soldiers row upon row,
Carrying all their burdens and woes.
They fight and they bleed all for you.
For valiant they fall fighting for freedom.
The soldier fights for their flag, their family, your freedoms.
The soldiers fight for right and wrong.
This not a nightmare or a dream, this is where people scream.
The soldiers stand tall in the streets, they bleed without a sound.
These soldiers are just names and tags when they end up in body bags.
Remember these soldiers keep the peace,
They are soldiers who live and die so we can stay free.

Hear the song of the earth,
Feel it's power and strength.
Hear it's cry.
Hear the cry of nature.
Feel the earth, water, air and fire,
Feel the spirits of the earth.

Soul deep, Soul sleeps,
Deep inside of you.
Souls scattered through space and time,
Souls and spirits divided,
Hearts together united.

Unopened buds,
Plants become awakened.
Lifted eyes to bright sunshine.
Heavens scent ,
Life is renewed again.

A starry eyed sky do the heavens provide,
Heavenly hurt does it give us.
The moon lies fair there's a certain slant of light.
The burning souls do shine brightly in midnight sky,
For they maketh the starry eyed sky.
Shooting stars shot from Orion's bow the sparks do glow,
In the far reaches of the starry eyed sky.
The outward light and the heavenly part the beauty does with purpose.
The sickening stars fade off the ethereal plane,
Closed one by one by dawn's approach.

You tread along the streets of gold,
That lie within my heart
It seems as if you've always been there
Like I've loved you from the start
A stronger love I've never known
It has control over me
I've tried to find someone new,
I've remembered how i cried.
But there's no one else too take your place in my heart.
There's nothing else for me to say
Except that I love you

The sun god ascends from the watery depths, The sun god spreads his wings.
The reborn phoenix soars towards the open skies.
The light pervades the darkness, clouds in the sky take on some color.
The hues transform they are multicolored.
The world holds it's breath with calm understanding.
Heavenly fire awakens life with it's warming embrace.

Life is but weaving,
I cannot choose the colors,
The threads are woven steadily.
Every memory every experience,
Is a thread woven and embroidered in the tapestry of our life.
The tapestry of life continues to be woven,
The light blends magically with the dark.
Threads so delicate so fragile we all need to take care.
But any thread that is broken can most times be repaired.

Tattoo's on the skin tell a story they hide a lot of sin.
They tell of personal pain and personal truth.
A person's journey may told by the tattoo's on their skin.
Triumphs, truths, lies and love are tattoo's on skin.
Even though the tattoo isn't visible doesn't mean it isn't there.
Life is a like a tattoo it comes in many forms and shapes just like people.
The colors vivid as blood and ink mix together in a dance intertwined, the script and symbols captured.
All of us are marked, we are unique, we burn with life that is our own personal tattoo.
Inked onto flesh is special meaning frozen in time now there for life.
Unfolding into all i am and will be the ink that is there tattooed on my skin, Is there for the world to see.

See the teapot cat on the shelf,
What history has it seen and felt?.
Even though it ain't alive,
It still has the energy of history and time.

Never so cruel the cry within,
Never such a sense of violated presence.
Impossibly diminishing a shade of a former self.
The kind of despair i have know i have received in waves,
Drowning with no key to the lock.
Tears do fall upon my face they are cold, they are tears of blood, they fall like rain.
Tears of blood fall down my face i taste the fear, It is pure hell.
Somebody must have some answers cause tears of blood are all i see,
Somebody must have some answers for me.
The memories come back time and again the tears are poison,
the pain is sharp it cuts like a knife.
The pain binds me like ropes i try to stand again, It stains like a black tattoo.
Crimson are the tears like long red ribbons, the wounds on my soul if only you knew.
The sun fall from a broken world no words are said, Clouds reflect my tears of blood, dyed murky red.

The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite.
He bends you with his might his arrows go swiftly and far.
The archer loves the arrow that flies,he loves the bow that is stable.
The arrow of the archer weaves the threads to your heart as if,your beloved was the cloth.
Fragment of spirit litter the paths of life, his soul cries out to them.
The archer has the flame that burns therein, this he said in words.
But much remained unsaid inside his heart.
For himself he could not speak his secret.
The archer takes another breath in the still of the air, another look cast backward, Only to be another murmur in the glade.

I sit upon the sandy shore,
Watching the waves flow back and forth.
The breeze caresses my face, it whips my hair,
It encloses my body acknowledging I'm there.
I walk the dunes  i feel at ease, i see the sea calm and still.
As the day begins to end i sit upon the beach,
To watch the sunset  reach it's peak.
I stood in the sand on the beach observing nature at it's peak.

Over the wintery forests,
Wind howls with no leaves to blow.
There are none so savage as the bear,
Fearsome, red in tooth and claw.
Coming forth from the frozen north to commune with nature and me.
The noble beast is best left in peace.
Strong like mountain, fearless like tiger,
The fire burns within the spirit.
Wise dark gaze, voice of quiet or roar.
He rises with purpose.
He is Powerful in body and mind.
Roamer, loaner he walks the forest floor.
The bear guides through dreams and dangers unseen.
He walks as an animal, he stands as a man,
He remains eternal he is the bear.

The cat sits in the window what does it really see.
Ghosts from ages past creatures we don't understand.
Tail is twitching body is poised, mesmerized by the world outside.
Hours pass the shadows pass the cat sits on the window ledge.
Frozen in space and time the cat sits with dignified poise.
The cat knows himself and is deep inscrutable.
For every house is incomplete without him,
And not blessed without one.

A poet will often wax lyrical using many words.
Prose, metaphor and haiku but to name a few.
Romance, inspirational, seasonal poetry, nature and blues,
The ideas often come at night.
Poetry of the poet is a deal of joy, pain and wonder with a dash of emotion thrown in.
Poetry of the poet is a rhythmical creation of beauty in words.
Poetry is silent poetry speaks.
Poetry is often a legacy the passion and feelings often left unspoken in life.
Poetry is evidence of life worth remembering the words of the poet

I sit by the sea watching wave upon wave.
I see the sea stretch out for an eternity.
I watch the waves flood the shore.
I feel the surging emotion of the sea wash through me.
I see the colors of the sea change it's hue,
From green to grey to azure blue.
The sea is a mystery to all but, alive with a reality that it dominates the earth.

Clouds are black and white.
Running fast to fill the sky.
The scent of rain fills the air.
A storm brews on the horizon.
Falling water drops stain the ground like tears.

Musky body, amber eyes, coat of red.
Smokey breath that hangs in the morning air.
A full spread of antlers on a glorious head.
He is the child of herne the lord of the wild hunt.
King of the woods is this stag his roar echoes off the trees, it rings in the air.
A challenge to all who enter his domain.
He owns his space, he stakes his claim there in the ragged wood.

The Witch
Blessed be! the witch inside,
Look into your minds eye.
Friend of nature, elements and animals.
Down to earth they truly see,
the evil of the tricksters and wannabes.
Should not be punished for their craft,
There is beauty in a witches sacred art.
Witches change with the seasons,
They breath the air of liberation.
Witch is child of light and shadow,
Natures spirit flows within.
A witches roots run deep, their will is strong,
They will stand up for what is right.
Searching and finding, needing and minding,
Wondering when the quest will end.
A witch cannot hide who they are, a pagan child.
All who follow the faith must heed the call.

Wave after wave,
I'm slowly drifting drowning in my emotions,
Weight of the world on my shoulders.
Wave after wave rolls me over hard,
I'm fighting to stay alive.
My soul has been sent out to sea,
Drifting afar distantly.
These crashing violent riptides,
Will soon turn a peaceful wave.
The ocean of emotion sometimes set us adrift.
The returning tides will bring us back into the heart of another,
A path that leads to the end of all things,

Feel the wolf inside the spirit alive.
Feel your senses heighten.
The thrill of the hunt, the claws dig into the ground.
Silent shadows move in the darkest night,
Running in the distance far,
Underneath the moon and stars.
The wolf is like no other,
Red in tooth and claw like natures maw.
Growling, snarling, biting, bleeding, the fight must go on.
Wolf withstanding man's hate,
Wild, fierce and free.
The wolf has sung it's song,
It will be tamed by no one.

Worn thin my heart can't take no more.
The tears I've cried the sorrow i feel the pain inside.
Stretched impossibly thin i feel like I'm dying inside.
I hear the ticking of time passing,
I hear chips coming off my mortal coil.
My soul aches for release from confines worn thin.
All that remains is a grey husk a shell worn thin by life's endeavors.
Dark clouds loom over the horizon i guess it's destiny's call.
I stand looking in the mirror looking at the shattered remains of a strong will worn thin.
Maybe life isn't for me anymore i don't know who i am anymore.
I fear for the selfish pain the relentless tragedy,
The uncharted deception it has worn me thin.
My perception is altered my sense of self worth blurred, I can't decipher myself.
Constructed Illusion of that which is worn thin does not belong on this earthly plane.

You  Know you complete me,
Our love is true.
I know I've never met anyone quite like you.
You're beautiful yet strong and commanding,
Our love life at time can be quite demanding.
Our obsession is inevitable, our attraction undeniable.
You fill a void no other can touch.
You know you complete me you know that much.

You may see me struggle when times are hard.
Regardless if I'm weak or going to stand tall,
You're there for me cause you're my rock.
Life is never easy I'm going to fight to live.
I wear the biggest smile cause of you.
Life turns a page i hope my decisions are good, Knowing what didn't **** me would only make me strong.
I have been scared and alone but you lit the way for me,
Cause you are my rock.
You're my earthly angel I'd be nothing without you.
The road to success is never straight but with you're stead fast faith in me,
I'll make it cause you are my rock.
