For a while

You talk all this crap about immigrants
So tell me
What tribe do you belong to?

I wish I could relate to your pain
And grateful I do not bear it

I push too many buttons
In my mind
I feel as if I'm just saying what
Every One
Is thinking
I do not mean to push
Buttons
Because
That's just another word for
Annoying
My badd
Because I can't be any other way
Most people do not like me
But I still love them
And when somebody loves me
They call me on my *******
I welcome constructive criticism
And I also Practice it

To gain attention

There are two kinds of people
"Us" and "Everyone else."
Though the notion of Us is fluid
To some, it's all about wealth
Others think it is color
Or nationality
But mostly, when we say "Us,"
We mean "People who think just like me."

I annoy most people
That's just my thing
I don't intend to be annoying
Maybe I shall try to attach it to a form of mental illness
"Her illness is she annoys the **** out of everyone around her.  She cannot control it."
If I can do that, nobody would get to ***** about it.

Your poems remind me of
Fortune cookie inserts
Offering advice
Instead of wisdom
Without good advice
Or
Enough stupidity to be entertaining
And fortune cookies are so **** bland
When paired with bland fortunes
But maybe those in the far East
Will find your poems exotic

I appreciate your worship

That white flag has been sitting in that case

It is hard for me
Someone who has been through all the worst life has to offer
To understand depression
I want to empathize
And a big part of me does
I remind myself that depression is not linked through life's circumstance
But a chemical reaction of the brain
As someone who has had a brain explosion
I understand the inhospitality a brain can put upon you
I am sorry for your troubles
Even if I cannot understand them
Maybe that's the thing about mental illness
It is un-understandable

I followed a poet
But her views seemed to shift
We had nothing in common
And I felt the rift
Whenever I saw her poetry
I thought "other people will look at me
And see, I've followed this nutty freak"
I wasn't sure what to do
I didn't want her to get a notice

The Kardashians are famous because they are a walking promotion, and we buy it.  Hollywood probably pays them to keep the focus off everyone else.

Trying hard to be mysterious
