I wanna take you there. Where there isn't a care in the real world  and my dream girl becomes a wish come true because we're under a sky full of blue. When beside an ocean, the chill breeze touches our toes and the waves repeat their highs and lows. I look at you and visualize your beautiful eyes I see everything but lies and compromise. Along the shore we trot, our eyes being exposed to alot of thoughts and speculate what are true purpose is of being here, to one day be cleared or to display guidance to our peers. We leave this exotic escape only learning and yearning to feel that euphoric paradise of a landscape
.
Tis not with the eyes I see you
for they are blinded by your beauty
tis not by my touch I claim to know you
for they are fooled by your depth of gentleness
tis not by scent I recognise you
for perfume and creams mask thy fragrance
Tis with my heart I see you the true you
the you hidden awaiting to be found
tis with my words I claim you the real you
awaiting to be awoken with a kiss
tis with my soul I inhale you the only you
that awaits to imprint herself upon one

who is willing
to know the woman behind the mask.

Jaded by fire,
I play with death.
Let me drink your poison
and I’ll steal your breath.
The witching hour
A time when I am alone
Perhaps I shall die

There is a naivety in the absence of love,
the need for new affirmation in
the capability of the world to once
again hold onto your heart.

No patience within the presence of pain,
we simply cling to ephemeral half-life
traces of the real emotion we so
desire and therefore cheapen by
embracing tarnish.

Funny how we woke up in the morning
and pretended that tomorrow never happened—
strutted naked in mirrors celebrating our youth,
laughing, knowing suns and moons couldn’t do the same.

We borrowed our arms from the fridge
and peddled bicycles with bad breath—
trading war stories ‘cause we knew
if we came back alive
life would still be the death of us.
