I've been falling,
for over a year and a half,
falling very fast,
two weeks ago,
I finally hit the ground,
with a resounding splat,

I could lose my sense of direction,
because falling is usually down,
but I was falling in,

each day,
losing myself along the way,
my head is no longer,
in the clouds,

are firmly planted,
the landing hurt like hell,
but it feels good to be standing.
