Let’s do something stupid, but just once or twice
If you make the memory then I’ll pay the price
Like free falling from bridges through the crisp air
Like shadows and mirrors I’ll always be there.

Let’s do something stupid, but just once or twice
If you take the pleasure I’ll take the vice
Like word stalling in obscure areas under soft lights
Like tossing and turning, big spoon, little spoon at night

Let’s do something stupid, but just once or twice
If we break things together, if we roll the dice
When things go bad you know there is a stain
But the things that we’ve done will be worth the pain

Let’s do something stupid, but just once or twice
Because we wake and both know the devil makes thrice
Let’s run amok, let’s head-bang, let’s party
Let’s make a night to ourselves before things get ******

Let’s do something stupid, but just once or twice
Let’s do anything, anywhere, let’s throw in some spice
Let’s be foolish and daring and careless and free
Whatever we do is all right with me
Do everything everywhere, let it be loud
But let’s do it together, let’s do it right now.
We're fighting a war, you and I
Some battles were different and others the same
It's not like those movies we've seen
There were many casualties
We've each suffered
From our own battles
But in you I see an ally
And in me you see a friend
So we will fight this war together
And someday soon we'll emerge
******, scarred, but victorious
And our enemies will see our tattered banner for miles around
Knowing we've won the war
It’s my armor
My protective shield from the
Outside world
When the stress of their attacks
Becomes too much
For my weak vulnerable body
I turn up the volume, close my eyes
And disappear
Into a world of sound
The waves of power course through my veins
Becoming my blood
Thick and red
Making me superhuman
Fearless
And for a while I feel invincible
A goddess
I can take on the earth-shaking beatings
Of the outside world
As they beat at my shield with their cold, dead hands
Trying to break it
I reach out and smash them to pieces
With the sword crafted from the music inside me
And they fall away
Like so many pieces of glass
Winter is an icy goddess.
Her glacial beauty attracts
hot jealousy
from Summer.
Winter coldly ignores
the burning words
with a toss of
her blue hair
and a flash of her
pale eyes
yet she melts
when Spring
tugs on her dress and hands her
flowers.

You've surely seen a rose,
Precious and in bloom.
But you've never seen the roses,
That lie wilted in my room.
You've never seen their death,
Or cold hearted gloom.
You've never seen the petals,
Waiting there in doom.
You've never heard the whisper,
That they mutter in your ear.
All night long,
That's the only noise you can hear.
You've never smelt these roses,
They smell like deaths perfume.
You've never smelt that fragrance,
As it glides across a room.
You've never felt the thorns,
As they ***** your fingers.
You've never felt the blood,
How it sits there and lingers.
You've never seen these roses,
I hope you never will.
You'll never see these roses,
Unless it's you they try and ****.
The enemy was strong
but I was stronger
two hundred blows
two hundred parries
and when the dust settled,
I finally figured it out.
I was at war with my own reflection.
So I glared at my rival
with rage in my eyes
and I shattered the mirror.
See
You can't see them
but I can
They're everywhere
Your fingers just traced eight of them
Unnoticed by you
but not me
I count them every day
even though
you can't see them
Autumn is a teenager
who paints the leaves
rebellious colours
and throws them down
in a huff of cool wind.
She doesn't like when
people call her Autumn.
She prefers her nickname
Fall, because that's what she makes the
leaves do as she passes by.
They ran
through Reality's old middle school.
It was night,
and the full moon
made Dream's hair glow.
As they ran away
from the shadow
Reality could not identify,
they sang,
and only Dream would remember the words.
Finally they stopped running,
and Reality
with her dark eyes
looked upon Dream
with her pale eyes
and knew that
she loved her.
So Reality began to cry,
and Dream could only
watch
as Reality
woke
up.
