Teacher, Teacher,
Leave me be
Can't you tell
That I can't breath?

Mind malfunction
Push it down
Hide from all the
Peers around.

Silent screams,
I bite my tongue
Don't know what to do,
I'm young.

Teary eyes
Stare up at you,
Teacher, Teacher,
Thought you knew.
Don't buy the promises.
Don't listen to the man.
We all hear the music,
but some are in the band.

Some of US say peace.
Some of US say war.
Two of US are rich,
the rest of US are poor.

Most of US are broke.
Most of US are mad.
Some of US are working,
the rest of US are bad.

Most of US can eat,
some of US do not.
We all know it's wrong,
or have we all forgot.

I'd love to solve the problem,
I'd love to help a bit.
Come on my fellow hippies.
Come on and take a sit.

Some listen to their own song.
Most listen to the band.
But we all hear the music.
What happen to this Land?

Peace out.
I can't bear the weight
Of all these things inside.
The rivers made of all the tears,
That I still haven't cried.
The dreams that haunt my longing
The fears that I can't see,
The mountains all are lain to waste,
And all that's left is me.

Overly prideful
Incredibly flawed
Aware of all the flaws that exist
Poke at them in my mirror
See them more than you do
You might've been able to recognize them
If you had spent 17 years looking at them, too
They say flaws are beautiful
They say it's what makes us human
What if I don't want to be human?
Now what do you tell me?
Hm?
Found this from a few years ago, sort of surprised that nothing has really changed since then.

If anyone asks,
I was never here
what happens tonight
is neither here nor there

you put me through hell
expecting me to be an angel
you dragged me through the mud
expecting me to come clean

Tonight, I'm a ghost
You can't touch me
Even if you see me
You won't believe

If anyone asks,
I couldn't care less
What happened last night
Just whispers behind my back

you asked me for my heart
expecting that not to leave a hole
you stripped me of everything
expecting me to still have my diginity

Tonight, I'm a ghost
You can't touch me
Even if you see me
You won't believe

nobody gets what they deserve
nobody gets a second chance
nobody gets what they give
you get what you get

If anyone asks,
I was never here
what happens tonight
is neither here nor there
