Your wine stained lips tell me
It was a ***** night.
You crawl into the covers
Waving at the light.
My hands want to shout
Want to ring you all out.
Gluey eyes and greasy hair
Looking a mess, I don’t care.
Your eyes are on yesterday..
Stale scotch and whiskey too.
But when you wake up today
You’re still going to be  you.

Rays of white-golden light
Caress warmly naked skin
Observing in childlike wonderment
Incomprehensible communication
Between the tangible
And the abstract of
Sunlight painted patterning
Seeping through green foliage
Between nothingness and leaves
Soundless to the human ear
The dance of sunbeams
Yet music is all around

A gentle breeze is whispering
Stories through the trees
Rustling leaves, an eager response
Of unfathomable rhythms
And infinite keys
Creating perfect harmony

Light and sound in color
Immerse my beingness
Intoxicated by beauty in
Gratitude and joy with
Infinite love for
All-That-Is
The symphony of life

Seeds

The seeds of thought will grow whether you watch them or not,
they will favour the cracks in the concrete.

The world will tell you to fill them in with fear,
learn the answer, you are not qualified to ask.

They have taught you not to think, to cover up their own delusions,
fill in their own cracks.

But the seeds will still grow, even in the darkness.

Growth

I thank you for the pain you caused me,
the fact you forced me to look and to see,
holes in what I thought defined me.

To grow and open my mind,
I must accept that it will always be closed.
I do not run from pain these days

If you Love one unconditionally,
do you not Love them all?

And if our Love for them could change,
would it be Love at all?

shirley temple
She dances in the dark in slippers made of moonlight,
Looking in the shadows for the fairies with twisted fingers
And the beasts with gleaming white-bright teeth.
She twirls in the eddies of thick, cold fog
And soaks it all in like a blood stained rug;
She weaves your whispers into trees like smoke,
And stokes the fires of our dreams.
Her black, empty eyes reflect no light,
and her dance is dark and eerie.
It flows like a dead man's corpse in the river,
It sways like a noose hanging in a tree.
You know this dance, yes, you do.
She's the nightmare keeper.
And she'll come for you.

Tomorrow
 Aug 2013 Josh
eh
I'm sitting here, all alone
In this solitude I can't fathom
I don't know why, I feel this way
But all I know is dismay

The broken smiles and endless screams
I simply can't let them see
The emptiness inside of me
Because I'm not who they want me to be

Fake smiles and dumb stuff
Life is such a mind craft
I can't fathom the ambiguity
But I hope that one day
I'll be happy

I don't why I feel this way
But anyway
Tomorrow is just a day away

I have a daughter,
Claïs fair,
Poised like a golden flower in the air,
Lydian treasures her limbs outshine
(Claïs, beloved one,
Claïs mine!)

Heaviness

everything’s vague.
I feel
like I should feel
something,
if anything,
more
than this.
like that moment
when you surpass
exhaustion
and you wander
in the deadness of your house
and the deadness of your mind
in the early hours of the morning
as time passes silently
and 2 becomes 3
and 3 becomes 4
and you don’t notice the minutes
falling away.
but you don’t mind
you just remain
conscious
and heavy and vague
and simply continue in that same
dead existence,
wandering,
until you forget what it was like
to feel.
