Do the earth a favor,
          don't  hide  your  magic.
                 The stars would be
       so proud to know their atoms
              created somebody
                          like you.
              Magic tumbles from your
                 pretty lips, and when
          you speak the language of the
     universe ---- the stars sigh in unison.

               And when I touch you
          it is as if the stars are dancing
                     across my skin. and
                        I say to you,
          "you blush like an ocean in love,
                    wild with blueness,
         and you are your own standard
                            of beauty."
               Understand that women
       like you don't happen often and
   never  forget  how  rare  you are so seek
               only those who fan your
                                 flames.  

                   And  understand  it's
            your heart of gold & stardust soul
       that make you beautiful and you will be
             too much women for every man
      until you find the right one and you know
                that I'm the only one who
                         makes you glow.

Love is not something
                      you feel, it is
                something  you  do
                    and sometimes
            I wonder if love is worth
                        fighting for,
                but  then  I  remember
                  your  face  and I'm
                      ready for war.

                       The older I get,
                the more I realize I don't
                   want to be around
                drama, conflict or stress
                          and that all I
               really want is a cozy home,
                     good food, and to
                  be surrounded by happy
                                people.

                     Wherever you stand,
                be  the  soul  of  that  place
                         and do more of
                what  makes  you  happy
             and always believe something
                    wonderful is about
                               to happen.

Growing up in the 60's and 70's,
                   I learned to smile
                like  I've  never  cried,
            I  learned  how  to  fight  like
                   I've never lost.

          And as a United   States   Marine
                            in Vietnam
                    I  learned  how  to  ****   
                       so I could make it  
                home   alive  only  to  face
            another war in my head called
                            PTSD or die.

                 And  I  learned  how  to
                              love like
                    I've never been hurt.

                      And I learned to live
                  like  there's  no  tomorrow
               but  how  to  live  in  the  now,
                    and I learned kindness
                 doesn't  cost  a  ****  thing,
                         so I learned how to
                sprinkle  that  ****  everywhere.

                    But most important of all
                        I learned that there's
                only one thing that can make a
                       soul  complete, and
                         that thing is love
                               and that's
                     just the way we rolled.
