wrote your name in the sand
watched the waves wash
and take it,

so,

i wrote your name
and all my fears
at the bottom
of a bottle of jack,

I found them every night.

You're in every
Decision i make,
you're in every
sip i take.
I'm not really sure. Enjoy.

I'm always
                   tired and
                                  sick;
find the security in that.

My mind wanders
                               way
                                      too
                                           close
to the edge;
                   it's wiating to be pushed.
there is no comfort in that.

Sparkling red droplets
                                     tangle
                                                their
                                                         way
around wrists, a beautiful dance of mixing sins.

There is no security, no safety, no comfort
within me anymore.

The greatest part of me, is wherever memories of you are stored.
When I hold you against me, all sound dissipates,
overwhelmed by the simple beauty of your breathing.
In time all wounds I bear shall heal, in your care the deepest cut fades.
You have filled the void inside me, and now there is nothing I cannot do.
I have burned my bitterness, and buried the ashes, with your assistance.
I wish I could seal my lips in a locket, so you would never be without my kiss.
Your smooth, soft hands caress me across untold distances.
As rough as I can be, your gentle touch melts the frozen monster inside me.
I know it must show, in the glow of my skin,
the vitality within me, it is your doing.
I awaken in the night, with an aching craving,
and I savor your image, with my mind's eye.
The woman that I love, has finally came to me.
All my strength, I swear upon her beauty.
I have been saved, from abyssmal despair,
embraced in the open air, I now breathe clear,
all because,
I have found the woman I love.

Neither of us want to be alone. You stare at me as if I am a ghost. A distant shadow of a peaceful past.I apologized in advance, I was never going to be who you wanted me to be. I can only be myself, and sadly I leave wrecks in my wake. You stare at me, with a resentment in your eyes, I'm afraid I can not conformire to your world, I'm sorry you left the world we shared. I realized something the other day, you never shared that world with me. You were always on the outside looking in, pretending just as I had to pretend. Your no different than I, and yet you will never let me forget, how much better you are.
Brand it,
Bandit.
Livin' the dream,
curse.

Sulking
in the silence
of your sorrows.

Neck deep
in worry waves.
&
I'm drowning, in the
shallow waters of my own.
Into the bubbling blue bath of my bliss
my body breaks free of all bounds;
enchanted melodies cavort across my tongue,
unchained continents of merriment.
Shooting stars; cool satisfaction coats me completely.
I have lost all curiosity for torture technique,
while this melody bounces across the cosmos.
My imperfect lovely: Perfectly fractured,
all my shattered pieces fit your holes,
and even now, I glue pieces of you into the slots they fit.

A singular petal glistening with dew,
Deep crimsom; long stemmed tulip.
Black eyes, its stamen. Shedded insight,
I lowered my body before you, as offering.
How will you devour this dream of desire?
It is a feast to be consumed, in small bites,
and copious servings of seconds.
Do not allow this flower to fade,
it may save you from yourself.

Blessings bestowed before bedtime
often fade away by dawn,
give thanks for the present,
draw strength from the past,
take heart, what is meant to be
will always last...
in the end.

Day
I was born with an overwhelming empathy
for all creatures encompassing me,
a red heart ready to feel something
I’d never felt before,
I was born
with the ability to love,
and perhaps I’d no say in the matter
but the blood filled me no less and the strings
‘round my organs tugged and throbbed
and eagerly heeded the choir’s demands

I was born in a state of pure chaos, pure bliss;
I was born to look ahead and reminisce

I was born to the familiar it would seem,
the leaves I recognized when they fell from the trees
and how evergreens stayed so ever green;
I’d felt the life of rain in me,
death as cold as Canadian Rockies
all at once with the shelter of instinct
leaving behind nothing but footprints
and running for a different reason
into a cave that says
security and not
top-security penitentiary

I was born, learned and raw
in chaos and bliss,
I was born to look ahead and reminisce
