some time's worth of energy accumulated,
and too, dreams, and reflections on the whirlwind trips gone by,
comes another visit-

and yet that night i huddled cold
with you every blanket sold,
and every lamp that warmly glowed-

blackout curtains took the place
of floral dainties, window-graced
so come the morning sun's bright shine,
i might forget it once was mine.
