The legacy of Branch Rickey stands in his strength to wield his power for change.
Even when others cry foul and complain about not trying to change.
And the subject always seems the to be surrounded by the strength of a powerful black man.

We by now know many never wanted Jackie Robinson within the league of baseball.
We know most of the players and of course the owner.
****!
Seem we see this now when you challenge the "rule" for standing on your rights.

Presently, we see the weakness of owners of the same racial makeup.
Trying to dictates rules and regulation after black males fight for justice against police brutality.
Which the NFL protest was mainly about.

Not the anthem, and not the flag.
Not once have they stated they were unpatriotic.
That was this one guy behind the microphone talking to a majority of his own.

We have seen when others rock the status quo.
The power that becomes weak.
We saw it with Muhammad Ali and the raising of the fist during the OLYMPICS of the sixties.

Just notice the shaking of the power that is when elected leaders cry foul.
But avoid racial injustice.

Then we aware they never could survive segregation if it was turned around.

You mad.
You stated this.
You stated that.
But the one thing you said the most was to undo the love I feel for you.
But how?
After all the various things we both been through.

You have been my rock when I need strength.
You have been my shield of protection when others tried to attack.
So to undo all my affection would mean all types of elimination.

Wiping the way the hugs, the kisses and intimate touches that sealed us into a relation.

So guess what?
It's not gonna happen.

The Rock, many aware and many know.
But long before the rock there stood Woody Strode.
And you aware of his legacy then you know the measure of this man.

A man of elegant status.
Who stood out?
His legacy is known, if only by a limited few.

And this was long before the rock.

Another sad tale of a mother hurting her child.
Stress and pressure of raising it contributed to bringing her depression around.

But at one time she was a radiate soul.
Then one day her love interest and father of her child were gone.
Back in the day, many men would have never walked away.

They would have stayed and supported her along the way.
But nowadays, many men into the touch and play and depart.

Which leads to many ladies having a broken heart.
Which is another sad tale to remind us of the world?

We the sensitive kind avoid things.
Afraid true means you must explain.
Racism between the two major races creates drama.

But it's rooted in slavery and centered around it.

Which is why one group cries about it not being addressed?
For they must face their own messed.
But when can they when they must confess they created a partial form of it.

While the other group keeps it alive.
Addressing all the historical facts of the many that have died.
We aware when reading that edited form of history books.

This matter is washed over by certain teachers.
Avoid the subject of love for another when a sermon by preachers.

Avoid mothers serving time like many guys locked up for not paying child support.
We give many nonpaying mothers of staying free.
Is this because they are a woman.

Avoid the facts that prison sentences just isn't fair to many for the same crime.
We very aware that some judges are masters of bigotry against certain kinds.
Instead of been guiders of true justice to everyone.

I guess JESUS really was the best one.
A man of substance, a man of purpose.

If loving you was all it takes to make you happy.
We forever are.
For the purpose of it lives within the heart.

But like many has said before.
You can't live off of love when all the money's gone.

If loving you was just a parttime thing.
Then we forever are.

But love is a full-time thing surrounded by memories you create.

Don't tempt me.
I might stumble and fall.
If the opportunity should avail.

Don't dare me.
I might accept the challenge and win.
So don't.

Place not a drink in front of a recovering alcoholic.
For the might get weak.
Don't place stolen money or money in general of a known thief.
Even the might get weak.

We know our weakness without it being pointed out.
It's like the game of baseball when you strike out.
