Sweet, Lovely Sin
You feel so good
Too satisfying

Oh, what do i do?
Let go?
Of the only thing i know?

You're too tempting
Too real
Too much of me

You're too much of my character
You're the fabric of myself
All that I have ever attempted

You're my life
You're safe
You're home

So should i just leave?
Commit to light?
Over the comforting darkness?

It's too much to handle
So I'll stay
I'll change another day
why bother failure success
that can't steal nor give happiness!
10w reflection to dispel this sad night
Some of us try to hold honesty to our biggest lie, even if it means a little of who we are must die. Allowing those fictions space in mind, will in time only ever bind. We open our eyes to behold what this world holds, but in turn we turn our back to our own soul. Look in and not out to see whom you might be, before this world turns you into who it wants to see.
I can't tell you
I've lied.
I ***** up dark secrets
Hemorrhaging inside.
You won't look the same
At me.
I'll keep this to my grave
Bury it deep.
I'm a monster
Sharp teeth.
I won't let you see
Secrets underneath.

I've added 'getting over you'
to my long list
of inevitable failures
and of all the things
I couldn't do
(like play basketball
or drive a car),
my inability
to not-love you
still haunts me
when I've forgiven
all
the rest.
