Oh why must pain riddle my heart?
Can the birds not sing every day
And can the sun not always be seen?
For what purpose does this rain patter
Upon my soul and drench me
Only for your smile to thaw the the freeze?
Can the Angels not strum a time upon their harps
To the beat of your footsteps
Drawing you close to me?
Can the aroma of your sweet skin not
Bring back so many memories
If they are not to be today?
Can I just fade into dust
Settle upon this earth
And be one with the wind
And drift off into the evening sun?
Can you not just be with me?

I fall to my knees
On the shattered remains
Of my mirror image
The man who stood tall
Reduced to millions of nothings
Come glue me back together, baby

Shadows shadows on the ground
Pitfalls within reach of every step
Absolute darkness shrouds presence
Feed the hungry beast within my soul
When it rears its ugly head
Soothe it with your melodious voice
Reason with me, calm my fears
Take my hand, sweet goddess
Deviate from our current paths
Loosely intertwined, tangle the knot tightly
Hold on and never let go
So we can fall deep and away
Deep and away from here and there
Let us fall together, even if it's to nowhere

I'm learning Arabic
Unlocking the treasure
Of a million tales unheard
A look through different eyes
I'll post in Arabic
When I know it enough to write it

I've seen the sun fade a thousand times
But none could ever compare
To watching it with you
It's like closing a book
Just to open its sequel

Let the beat absolve your soul
Fall into the waves
Melancholy with its monotony fades away
The world becomes a crashing wave
That I ride every day

El día que tuyos ojos
Vieron que míos
Eso era el día
Que mí corazón bajó
