He loved his family and wished they'd get along.
He was always distance from people he knows people go through stuff
But have no right to take their frustrations out on others
Killing the fun with bad vibes and bad attitudes
He didn't care to feed egos or deal with their worse while he put out his best
He minds his mouth because his honest made people mad
His mouth got him in trouble and lead to drama
He just wanted to hang out without conflict
Trying to keep the peace while falling to pieces within
Trying to understand while their actions said other wise
He didn't get them while they made everyone uncomfortable
He was done pretending everything was okay.
It was easier to stay away then try to help those set in their ways

Eventually it feels like everyone is against you making a stand sometimes it's a lonely road
While pretending everything is okay makes it way worse than before
Forgiving them and moving on is easy
Getting close and trusting is another
They'll try to bury or expose you while you've done nothing wrong.
Having an opinion gets you judged and treated different
Not a problem paying for things but when you demand name brands
And have deadlines for a potluck it's unsettling
Cared you had problems rather than help the situation things got made worse.
The power given doesn't mean people owe you or you own them. Letting that go to your head talking bad about others while you do the same thing.
Trying not to say anything but hard when you are being taunted and provoked. Definitely not seeing eye to eye or on the same level

When he was hired on it was insulting

Depression told him something was missing.
Anxiety told him he couldn't do it

He was hating work then he noticed her. He smiled but she couldn't tell he was wearing his mask. They locked eyes smiled with them. He hadn't felt or thought highly of anyone. Always in doubt trying with all the wrong people.
He didn't care for his job working with a terrible lead but seeing her made his day better. The winter weather the rain set a tone. That felt magical and festive.
All he wanted was love but grew up with tough love. Everything had terms and conditions going through so much giving up who he is to be with someone that was never satisfied.
