Fear of missing out not invited
Always working cant be there

Dk what's going on or what to say
Once inside wanting out not the same
Losing the joy not the same anymore
Staring into the distance zoning out
Can't figure it out always in the works
Learned to go without the struggle
Life transition compromised

He woke hung over the bright sunlight
Dehydrated with eyes sensitive to light
Not Remembering a blue
What happened the night before
So much has change with say
Fear of the unknown leaving the past
Everything slipping away
Grasping for life trying to find balance
More peace within and base

He started to feel his dream
Started to see it in his mind
Own a home a life on the ranch
Making money doing what he loved
It came together finding the one
No more false promises
Trying make more happen
Wanted kids and a family
Feared being a single parent
Having it all just for it to be taken away

Watching movies observing scenes
Taking notes for angles
How can you say it set a tone
Finishing another notebook
Reading the bible needing strength
Focused on faith and family
Can't be mad or angry anymore
Count all the blessings
Things are not so bad
Being grateful and thankful

Finding peace and comfort
Reading his bible helped
Through tough times
Praying for strength
Praying for everyone's safety
For everyone's health
This year has been tough for all
Hard to sleep at night
Exhausted all day
Slowing down inhale
Exhale calming all that's within
Usually going strong

Praying for family not ready to let go
Sorry feels like time is running out
Staying strong feeling vulnerable
Wanting to take it not them
Praying to be saved
Living in fear dk what's real
Lies are the truth fully believe
The truth made out to be a lie
So many ignored and excuses
Part of getting older more white hairs
Body doesn't heal the same
Taking it easy pushing through
Slowing down physically
Mentally pushing through

Thinking of ways writing like life is a matter of life and death. Slowed down because of burning out. Rushed missed things on the way trying to get ahead barely coming out even.
A late starter trying to make up for being behind. Always taking a risk caught up in the mix. Dating all the wrong women learned the less. Thankful for the moments focused on the good over the bad.
Working jobs trying to learn as much as possible to get it done. Can't rely or trust anyone have to step it up to finish.
Lost friends along the way, some couldn't be single in bad relationships.
Having a family leaving friendships in the past; focused on their kids the future.
Didn't understand before but everything makes sense now.

Stuck on a thought, running with ideas that might or might not work. Telling the truth should lead to good feels like things got worse. Not sure why it becomes a conflict of interest maybe being around the wrong people doesn't help.
Use to be a wild one life was different after sobriety. People stop calling when you don't drink anymore.
Made efforts to keep a friendship going it soon became one sided. Stopped caring let go of those people. Sad to see them go, but a way to stay true and grow.

The athlete within wants out lots of wear and tear over the years. Conflicts with being responsible; trying to find a balance. Work takes away from training, but money is needed to invest in your skills/talent.

If been writing for years and asked, "what are you going to do with it?" It started out as an outlet then it became my voice. A way to express myself without my feelings and emotions being twisted. The worse feeling is when you talk to people, and they give you a blank stare because they aren't listening, or don't care.
Looking at my bass guitar. Praying I had the patients to learn able to read tabs. Thinking of my grandpa; he tried to teach me to play by ear. It was fun but he's impatient with and expect perfection.

Thankful for my loved ones
Appreciate life and family
Everyday is not promised
Prayed for love with peace

Writing had been therapy
Cant say much most grt offended
Or they try to twist your words
Able to cope show emotions
Without them being used against you
Usually say the wrong thing
Trying to do right no hidden agendas
Hard to open up to others
Someones sad story is a contest
Just trying to vent bounce ideas
Come to terms from within
Find a solution to the problem

He wanted to write comedy
But lived a crazy life a series of events
Stay positive though it went wrong
He tried to come up with a new plan
Didn't mind the current situation
He began to reevaluate his life
Made decisions with what was given
With limited options provided
Made the most of things
Hard working coming up short
Thought about going back to school
The fear of having a degree
Without applying it to a career

The internal struggle is real
