Homeless people living in filth
From a classy town
Now in the slumps
Grew up on the ghetto side of town
Many had respect and thankful
Before mental health was hidden
Now people use it as a crutch
Life style choices had consequences
Taboo topics respected
All these movements
No plan of operations or outlines

Just want to be young
Have no responsibility
Hang with friends
Without a care
Be able to live in the moment
Have fun get out make memories
Over the work routine
Broken trust by friends
Lost respect over females
Females playing both
Both no longer friends
She cut both off and deep
No associating with anyone

Lived one way tried to be the same
Over time change is mean to be
Growing takes time some rush
Others make plans for the future
Stuck on the end made out to be tragic
Lived part of the growth process
Cleaned up sober living life lessons
Not collecting sobriety tokens
Giving it to God can't do it alone
Thought about having a drink socially
It's not worth it usually the DD
Always the responsible one
