How is it I think I find what’s real within your eyes
But from your mouth comes words comprised of endless counted lies
Falling at my feet just like a charm without a chain
Tarnishing the wisdom that shall never be the same
Whisperings of darkness slowly selling off the proof
Scribbles on a sidewalk as a chalk line alters truth
There upon a billboard with its message loud and clear
Written in graffiti is a clue that you are near
Still you fight the reason that our worlds have come to be
Hidden in the sentences your voice it sends to me
Tell me if you kindly will, what I have done to you
That brings about this wrath I feel has jumbled up the view
When all I really needed was directions to your heart
And now I see that hell is at the place you said to start
Once I did believe in every tear drop that you cried
Sitting on the cushion fighting off your fears inside
Now I wonder if your ears can hear this slamming door
Because my ears have heard enough, can’t listen anymore
Okay...who can relate????????
The smallest touch sets me off,
I know you don't like it all the time
Or even, now, most of the time
But, I see you, I see you
How can anyone not fall in love?

Wish to embrace the most intimate of activity?
To feel your breath on my skin,
Hands caress and swim
To look you in the eyes
Feel your body, buck
Muscles contract, fingers claw
Dig in and tear at sheets

Or just to close with you,
Hold gently, rhythmic and deep
Entwined of fingers and legs
Head thrown back, lost in steep
Chest to back, as can be

Maybe not like movies
Definitely not your books
Where everything is perfect,
Beings perfect bring fake reality
Expectations that prove to disappoint
The act of love isn't that,
Its moment making

Between two, desperate hearts
Two lonely souls, two holey minds
Imperfect truths, incomplete lives
Which always practice and seek
Attempting to mold as one
What a thing is this...
this spellbinding language in a KISS?

A kiss will tell of tender love,
like holy manna from up above.

A kiss will say hello;
by dewy greeting, much fondness
will show.

A kiss will say 'I must now leave,
but I shall return', in the meantime
leave you in a dreamer's wake,
to slowly burn.

A kiss has many mysteries to relay,
filled with lavish fury
to eagerly display.

A kiss has skill to vindicate,
and yet, with one touch,
to enemy, annihilate

In a kiss you may find betrayal
when the character of one
is thus frail.

In a kiss you will find
the beginning of new life, as hope renewed,
and a soul connects to another;
vile, painful pasts subdued.

In a kiss you will find tempestuous
passions less contained,
as undulating needs claim you
as their intended and perfect domain.

Such, and yet so much more, is this...
the ever mystical language..
the enigma...of a KISS...

There are days
when the rain seems
like nothing more
than inconvenience,
and puddles, messes,
and noise.

More often than not, though,
the rain has been a friend,
a companion of sorts.

It has lessened the
loneliness in moments
of grief and despair,
as it shared in
inconsolable
and silent tears.

It has covered me
like a warm blanket,
as it washed away
the fears.

More often than not,
the rain has been
a path to renewal,
a baptism most sacred.

Even the melody
and timber of the rain
has often soothed me,
like white noise
can comfort a
restless child.

The rain can consume
and wash out
and drown,
pushing unwanted
memories and dreams
down an any-named road,
for miles and miles.

For me, more often
than not,
it provides shroud
and cover from the sun’s
intense heat,
inspiring gratitude
and most joyful
smiles.

Along with centuries,
decades, years,
days and moments
I stand,
tall, majestic, in spite
of weathered skin.

I have endured
the monotany of
immobile time, deep gashes,
buzz saws ripping
into my flesh,
lovers’initials
carved into my
layers.

Creatures and beasts
of all walks of life,
have made a home
of me,
pushing, pulling
and bending branches,
causing pains,
oblivious to the
harm inflicted.

Either way
I stand,
tall and majestic,
in spite of insult
and injury.

I am that old
oak tree,
and my roots have
found their place,
gripping the fragile earth;
the raw embodiment
of determination,
no matter the weather,
no matter the punishments
nature can impose.

I stand,
tall and majestic,
like only an
old oak tree
can.

As far as the eye can see
It might have been perfectly white
A beach stretching, hugging the sea
Crystal clear and blue
Palm trees dot up and down along the way

Hot sun between the toes
Burns the memory in between
Here, everything is naked
There are no reasons for clothes
All desires, primal hence untold
Eat, run, *** and fun
Addiction, anxiety, and scary fears

Scoop the sand look at it close
Each grain a memory, stored
Histories unfold, sliding between fingers
As they fall, colors come out
Spreading across the sands

For a moment, you think
A tie-dyed wonderland
But the blues, like peacocks stand
Are pain, brilliantly trimmed in golds
Walled in blacks, more blues and grays
Reds are fears, soaking blood and reds
Dipping between colors, blending to blacks

Yellows, bright, happy thoughts
Always associated, keeping turquoise
Greens, silvers and peaches and oranges bold
It's an island's life, kept secluded to stay nice
Footprints here and there maybe chasing monster tracks
Sometimes to, sometimes back
Sometimes footprints go away

But the tie-dyed beauty of the landscape stays
In the dusk or morning's stay
Along the sands you can see
A brilliance catches the eye
Something different, something fine

That among the broken
Mountains and stones
That made this beach eons ago
Diamonds glitter,
Sparkling golds
And the silver lines
All that was broken, made you shine
