If I seem distant it's
because I am.
I abandon this city
like rain down gutters
trying to get back
to a home, a field, a shore,
no traffic, no smoke
where air is pure
& lungs breathe deep,
in a rhythm
untarnished by
tarmac & brick;
modernity's grip
that looks for life
& buries it, forgets
Earth has a pulse
a heart that beats
beneath us.

CHRISTMAS is coming real quick-
Again we get a visit from SAINT NICK-
CHRISTMAS  joy is in the air-
With lots of gifts to share-
Kids and adults out shopping galore-
Buying gifts at their favorite store-
Then at home place the gifts below the tree-
SO many gifts -perhaps one for you-and one for me-
Another year will soon close out-
SO HAPPY NEW YEAR I have to shout-

The past is safe where it belongs,
Gathering dust between my brain and skull.
It has no business in the present.
Recent publications are now on the shelves,
Sharing space with crisp HD shots.
Keep it from invading tomorrow,
Which belongs to the kids,
Who'll have their own burdens and joys
That need no comparisons with past lives.
Their present is in the forefront.
We'll be rightly blamed for this unpredictable world
Of warm Gulf streams, war posturing and threats.
Troubled places belong in the past, safely stored,
With warning labels,
Away from the twelve year olds.

I am sorry that I have not been on the last couple of days been in pain.

I am so Grateful, because each of you shine.
Revealing true Hope to me everyday I see you.
For each of you all were created in Christ image.
So each and every day God reveals to me through you.
His Love, perseverance , true Hope as well my Friends.
So yes I am very grateful to have each of you in my life.
For the Christ reveal things through other people here.
He reveal his word, his Love plus many other things.
You just have tio be open to see what he is saying to you.

I think that when we start to think positive thoughts.
That sometime the negative thoughts slip into our minds.
To work to suffocate the positive thought we are having.
Thus is the time to stand firm pushing those thoughts out.
Keeping the positive thoughts in our minds always.
For tis a battlefield , for we need to stand fast and not give up.
But keep throwing those negative thoughts out of our minds.
Keeping only positive ones that help others in our minds.
For people not material things matter at least to God and I.
