The signs are there
My poetry is declining
And so am I

Fatigue never got in the way of a man and good things

Mirrors
reflecting
reflecting what?
my poor excuse for a face?
for a soul?
for a life?

They were under intense heat,not of the sun but of each other

He said to her
"These are our kissing moments"

But she replied

"No,its more than that its when our souls touch"

Woman,
Your hands are meant to cook
Or so they tell me

Woman,
Your back is meant to bear a child
Or so they tell me

Woman,
Your body is meant to satisfy
Or so they tell me

Woman,
Your lips are meant to be silent
Or so they tell me

But Woman,
You are so much more
I tell myself

Woman,
Your hands make so much more than just "good food"
I tell myself

Woman,
Your mind, your soul is intricate your thoughts matter
I tell myself

Woman,
You can build or you can destroy
What you are depends on only you
I continue to tell myself

I am like a new window, I just hope life doesnt taint me too much, actually I am waiting for the right stains

You let happen what you think should happen

My head hurts because I keep thinking of things my brain tells me will never be

Days that are gone
Are counted more than the days that are here

Some people want you to flood them
with everything you have to offer
But remember it is okay to give drops
when your barrel is almost empty

You were born as nothing
Yet you lived as everything
And died as something

My world is full of stars
So they tell me it's too bright

You were used to straight and paved roads
So when you met me
A dirt road with so many turns and bumps
You panicked with no map to guide you

"What if I like broken?"He said

She answered
"No one does.no one likes a broken mug.no one uses it.no one likes a broken toy it ends up in the bin.people stay away from broken glass because it hurts them.nothing that is broken is loved"

Upon the threshold I stand
Looking down at my life
I can not tell if the tears are for a life so well lived that it is beyond any sadness to leave it behind
Or if the tears are because I realise my life was built only on sadness that no other can know

The ground is putrid
Yet they still smile
They still work
They still live

Someone was told me"Life is going to beat that hopefulness out of you." and I am afraid he was right, I have become but a dark human in a chaotic world.

Your hands are covered in blood from ripping out my heart

Your words are covered in sin from lying to me

Your eyes are covered in guilt from lying you wanted me

Your soul is covered in darkness for having what you didn't deserve

I have an impecable memory
But has love forgotten me?

Sometimes I feel like fall

When I arrive

Things die

Your lips are like poison
Yet I pull you closer
Blackening my soul in the process

Stop letting go
Of things you know
Make you glow

You took your words from your treasure chest
You chose the moset bitter ones
And sprinkled them on my wounds

As you traced your fingers along my soul

I knew what you expected to feel;

Curves

Yet all you found was;

Sharp edges

And your fingers bled

From beginning to end

The untitled are my dreams
They lay there without ambition to cover their cold skins

The untitled are my joys
They await bravery to explore them

The untitled are my passions
They sit in a cave away from the world
Without sunlight to bring them forward

The untitled is me
For i am both afraid and hopeless
Yet I still find a way to exist

If winter is over
Then why hasn't my heart melted?

I am not whole
But slowly I'm pieces of myself
That I never knew I lost

My mother had a wild tongue
She never accepted a man with a leash in his hands
And neither will I

My soil is craving revenge
Yet I should be happy

They said not to look
But I did and found love

My heart is paralyzed and cannot move towards love

She wanted to be held tight
But he held her down

You were a ghost town
But I so badly wanted to be a resident

Full on lies
Empty on love

I see the oppression
But they constantly whisper to me
"Be blind"

Never let an unacceptable
Become your equal

I showed you my scars yet you hid yours

My words formed an ocean, your response formed a sea and together we were deeper than deep can be.

Don't be scared to do

Take your journey with a pen

Writing my future
And reading my past
Fixing the present
Hoping the tears don't last

I'm losing the fight with my sanity

A little late night
A little lost hope
A little dark magic
And then a lost soul

I know
That even as the rain swallows the ground whole
There are still those that still try to plant their feet somehow somewhere

I find myself being more and more drawn in
Being awakened yet being so **** asleep
And realising that in this space
In this hole I dug and named holy
That nothing makes sense
And that I've been planting flowers for years in this hole with the hope something might grow
But it never has
Instead it remains destitute and putrid

And I expected you to crush it
But you let it float like a butterfly
just to watch me suffer..

I crane my head to look at your beauty
But you have moved away
Why do you flee oh beautiful cloud
I am here waiting to capture you within my eyes

Feeding off air
Living off nothing

Pain is immortal
not I

I keep moving
Leaving behind a trail of words
Follow and you shall find me
