Tesseract

Time folded on top of itself.

I see you in the edges of this kaleidoscope of string. I am never looking directly at you.

You exist in the spaces where light reflects in a different direction.

I have seen you in memories you were never a part of,

You, the ghost,

You, the peregrine I watch wistfully from a window.

I will tuck you in the vast expanses of forever hiding beneath the tides.

Your fingertips trace over my hands like they're words you want to memorize.

Skimming over the veins,

can you feel the hum-drum-thrum of my hummingbird heartbeat?

If I unravel into you I could crack like so much porcelain.
