Is that why you can't say a word to me ?
In this very moment
Say something
Tongue tied ?
Your words don't make sense now
That is all they are
Words
Empty words
No meaning
Letters put together
I hope your words find meaning one day
One day soon
Maybe one day they'll be as vibrant as your heart
Or as colorful as the Northern Lights
One day or maybe someday soon
So choose your words wisely

Know your bones

What they crave
 and ache for

What they will not break for

Know your bones

They are your home

Wherever you find yourself

Know your bones

Not the shell of another’s

Even if it seems a relief

You are then a thief

Who forgot your bones

While they still were your own.
If you are an aging book tossed on an empty shelf
Left to dust,
I will be the librarian who remembers you.

Even in my graying days and wrinkles,
I will find you within the musty bindings
Upon the shelves.
I will pluck you off,
Bypassing all of the others
That try and grab me as I walk
The narrow aisles.
I will push them back into their place
For you are the only one I have eyes on.
I will find you and blow the dust
Off your shoulders.
I will run my fingers over you,
Feeling your cover, your back, your spine
Before opening you and sifting through your pages,
Reading your story and discovering your scars
Where the corners have been folded over.

But I will love you long before
I ever open your cover and begin to read.
tell me what you all think :)

There is such beauty in the unexplained
A feeling so grand that no words can do it justice
To have no satisfaction with anyone but one
To wear your heart on your sleeve and be overjoyed
To think and not think all at the same time
To trust someone with everything and nothing
To give up nothing and everything
To feel secure and vulnerable all at once
You are forever my mystery
There is such a beauty in the unexplained
Tonight I morned the death of a friend
I've burned all the letters I could never send.
I buried her memories in a jet black box
And carefully tighned the new found locks.
I washed off the filth and got ready for bed
Knowing no more thoughts of her would dance through my head
I pulled up the sheets and turned out the lights
I've never slept better than I have tonight
This Cleverly Clawed Society,
These Painted Persuasive People,
With Their Apparently Sweet Talks,
They're All Eating Us Alive!

This Hyper Humane Society,
These Perpetually Punishing People,
With Their Evidently Sugary Eyes,
They're All Feasting Us Alive!!

This Sweetly Sociable Society,
These Poorly Pigmented People,
With Their Heavily Sharpened Teeth,
They're All Gorging Us Alive!!!

Ghazal
Exam time,
Stupid exam time
Think you're so formidable, do you?
Well I'm about to erase that
Leer off of that ugly face,
I'm going to grab you with
These hands covered in
Tired ink stains,
And mercilessly squeeze you
And extracting a handful words out,
I'll create a Poem out of you.
Oh, how much you'd hate that, right?
But yeah, that's what I'm going to do.
