Perches precariously on the edge of my
Crippled consciousness
Jealously and zealously guarding it
Lest it strays to ‘unchartered waters’.
To ostensibly **** time
She around the clock
Traverses the ‘bumpy’ uneven terrain
Of my mindfulness leaving in her wake a gall aftertaste.
She a beautiful apparition
Skirting and strutting her stuff
Boldly in my mind’s eye
All this to my chagrin.
Just that it aint
within the realm of possibility
and if it is then the odds surely are against me
I would happily frog match you out of my mind and heart.
