a constellation

a map
of your stars

as endless
as the universe

sit on that
side of the sofa
stand on that

drink from that
small white plastic mug
smell of that
fragrant perfume

write on
my blue notebook
sing everywhere
about any tune
go to the museum
to have look
talk to me
in the afternoon

when we'd get older
speak without
minding the time

sadly, all that's left

The universe

are from
different worlds

was there

I can feel it in the sky

to frown about

dark skies
a constellation
for your awe

and neither
Orion or Cassiopeia
can compare

Have you ever seen
a daylight shooting star?

It shines brighter than
the big yellow sun
and you can barely
see anything else
other than it

Sadly, it's one
of the saddest things
cause it comes to orbit
really quick and yet
it moves away after
every sighting

It shines once you see it
it shines brighter than
any other existence
within orbit and yet
no one seems to
see, hear, or witness it

sometimes, I'd like to believe
what people say when I say
"I've seen a daylight shooting star"
people believe that
I have seen
"far too many suns
to believe that*"

It hurts
to see
people
spend on
sweet emptiness
when you
have not much left
to spend on
