There is a line I cross across myself and beside myself I lay broken
With every sigh there is goodbye and I reside by words I've never spoken
I need help
Staying strong has never felt so wrong. Staying strong has never felt so wrong.
Staying strong has never felt so wrong.
Staying strong has never felt so ******* wrong.
Staying strong has never felt so

**** me.
******* **** me.
Give me your lips and thrill me.
Perk up your shoulders as I lay there and smolder
thrill me.

Whoops, there I said it and if I feel it then I must really mean it
and if I mean it, then I must really want it
and if I want it then I'll eat fire.
And duh-duh-duh he's going to eat fire, ladies and gentleman.
Boys and girls,
there are seven wonders of the world
and you'll never see them, let alone be them.

You ******* *******
I trusted you
I was just a child

"I'm scared."

You touched me in ways that you thought would bring satisfaction
but all you created was destruction

"You do it or you go to hell. It's in the bible."

Just because you corrupted my body
doesn't mean that you corrupted my being.
And you will never know who I am
just because of my body.
I have heaven inside of me
and oceans so deep in my heart
that I can drown others with my love.

I am not what the TV says I am
I am not what a textbook says I am
I am not my grades
I am not the flames that have burnt me

I am love
I am hope
I am the fingers brushing her face
I am courage
I am ambition
I am fighting to fix everything
while you lay dead and broken under dirt that is above you.
Above you.
Above you.
Above you. Above you. Above you. Above you. Above you.

This is the one time I will not be weak.

If I can overcome this then I can overcome anything at all
and if I can't
then forever I'll fall.
Desire to be near you
Constantly
Nipping at my brain
And overtime I see that perfect
Face of yours

My kidneys rise
Stomach flips
And my lungs scream for
Air
Because you take it away from me

The moment you walk out
Of that door I want to run up
To you and make my lips
Great yours with
Love

And I want my fingers
Intertwined with yours
Always
Every waking moment
I want to be yours

And I want you to be mine

Laying in the back of your car
Holding you close and breathing you in
I don't know what you use
But never stop, your
Intoxicating

Whether its small or deep your
Words seem to have me listening
Silence is nice, I like to think
But I'd rather have your voice
Surrounding me

Fingers carefully playing each key
Plucking at the piano effortlessly
Emotions pouring into the song
You drive me insane but I
Love it

Never stop
Desire to be near you
Constantly
Nipping at my brain
And overtime I see that perfect
Face of yours

My kidneys rise
Stomach flips
And my lungs scream for
Air
Because you take it away from me

The moment you walk out
Of that door I want to run up
To you and make my lips
Great yours with
Love

And I want my fingers
Intertwined with yours
Always
Every waking moment
I want to be yours

And I want you to be mine

Laying in the back of your car
Holding you close and breathing you in
I don't know what you use
But never stop, your
Intoxicating

Whether its small or deep your
Words seem to have me listening
Silence is nice, I like to think
But I'd rather have your voice
Surrounding me

Fingers carefully playing each key
Plucking at the piano effortlessly
Emotions pouring into the song
You drive me insane but I
Love it

Never stop

Swan girl
She flew through the window
So far and so fast
Away from the dream
She'd been dreaming
She flew to the stars
She danced with the moon

She flew with the dreamers
As they lit up the sky
She flew through the day
And into the night

She had an adventure,
She never looked back
For the daydreamers
Hello, poetry
You have changed
I do not like the alterations
That you have made

Yes I will admit
This new form is slick
But a change is a change
And we will still nit pick

I do not approve
Of the lay out here
Where do I log in
And I now fear

When I have a notification
I won't see that bright yellow bolt
Of lightening, the highlight of my day
So maybe I'll revolt

Maybe I'll stop clicking
Away at the keys
And filling this page
With my poetry

But you and I both know I
Cannot stay away
Hello, Poetry, you are my home
And here I will stay
Haha, I hate change. Quirky poem.

It's one of those unmistakable feelings
Like something's been woken up, deep inside
Only something deep within potato peelings
Vastly changing within whom it might reside
Everybody deserves to have their taste
Maybe some can even drink forever
Every drop must be drunk and not turn to waste
Halting negative thoughts to return never!
And perhaps it's just my dreaming ways
Yet I feel this down deep in my heart
Like the Hopeful I am, I walk in rose haze
And hope that someday to close the distance we're apart
Before I let them
Rip open the earth and
Stick me under just
To sew it back up
I want to fly

I want to loose my breathe
With the wind and
Close my eyes, to be at peace
For three fragile seconds
I want the wind to slip through
My hair and my make up to
Be ruined
I want to smile and be
Happy for three seconds

Before I come crashing down
And land on solid ground
Reality will hit
My body will just be a body
No me inside
But before I let this world take me
I want to be free and live
For the first time
Right before I die
This is how I want to die. I want to fly. That is my wish.
The date is blurred out numbers
Running through my head
But I remember she caught my eye
And my stomach then felt like lead

Hair a ***** blonde and
Hazel eyes occupied by
Her own thoughts racing
Little did I know her thoughts said "die"

Later I would hear from peers
That she was a walking cry for attention
She sat silently with bruises on her thighs
But it was the self harming they forgot to mention

I watched her every day walk
In and out of class
Sit in the same seat
With a different book each time she'd pass

The girl would pull back
Her bangs from her view
And study her frail pages
Each word to her new

The day I had decided to
Ask her out to a date
Was the day her desk sat empty
I thought maybe she was late

But several days passed without
An appearance from the teen
I figured she was sick or had moved
Without having been seen

Magically eighteen days later
She settles into the chair
Girl looks up and smiles at me
And I am suddenly aware

She tried to leave the town
Leave the state and country
She tried to leave the planet
On a spaceship to see

The planets and stars
Meteors flying by
The rings of Saturn
She tried to fly so high

But was grounded from her mission
The abort button was hit
Now the girl is back with me
And in her chair she sits
She flew away into the sun
But the wax wings melted her hope

I sat there, it may as well
Have been a whole day
Cranked up the volume
And heard them screaming at me
"You're an idiot!"
Yelled Bach
"******* quivering little ****"
Mozart shook his head
The tears welled up
But then they stopped
Because someone else stepped in
"Just relax. Close your eyes."
Floyd was understanding
Floyd got me
I floated away from self-loathing
Dropped back into the façade that was
The day
And I grinned like an idiot
Manilow? Yeah, we sang together
Paul and John? You best believe
We're a three-person harmony
M'lady Pink requested my voice
And I gave it to her
I sang loud and out of tune
Because they requested it
And finally, Mozart and Bach
Apologized with their minor keys
And accidentals
Their music emblazoned with the word
**Genius
I realized that the ending may appear that Mozart and Bach are calling me a genius, when in fact I simply meant the word to be as a snub, pointing out their genius as an insult to me.
