i choose my life
elaf sabah Jun 2014
i'v been up high and low i'v been there and here
i'v been into every road
i slept under the stars and danced with the lonely moon
my life was lined with many dreams, but they died too soon
it's regret that start to carve my scars, but at least they gave the pleasure to my enemies
i'm still young and feel so old, it's like i lived couple of lives in these centuries
everyday i wear my mask, it's kind of colorful and holding a smile
but every day i execute my self in life's standard trial
what do i have to prove, my success
my well living, my ambition, my happiness
what do i have to say when you look at me
i'm contain, i need no reality
so i keep looking for someone who understand, through books, poems and philosophy
to people who had give up their lives and make deal with death
did they abandon their struggle,or just lived the same hell without breath

i don't exist anymore, i'm a memory of friend you missed
i'm joke, you enjoy, you didn't laugh yet, but you can't resist
i'm the shadow lying at the wall, always step behind and always tripped to fall
i'm the flesh and the bone package you see,
but if you want the truth, you know nothing about me.
i like confessional poems, the type of sylvia plath poems used to be, she was talking about things, she deal with. so i guess that's my attempt to confessional poem.
