icy particles
deep in the snow
flurry of rain
gusts of wind

to me
you are so beautiful

1.
Deep beneath the tiers of rock
He found within the earth's cavity
A substance akin to wax
Collected enough to carry armloads
And *protected
it from sun.

2.
Once outside again
With feet upon the ground
He set to work so feverish
And sculpted a humanoid shape
This figure unknown to him
Yet, guided by some unseen force
The dimensions became distinct.

3.
Once done, he sat back to look
And nearly recoiled in shock
He thought he almost recognised something
But it just couldn't be
It just could the hell not be!

4.
He reached forward to make sure he felt it
Sudden presentiment untimely
and with thoughts assailed
He reached forward to touch
But it appeared he was afraid....

5.
When he touched its ***** gingerly
He found he couldn't let go
Then, he felt the winter sculpture gain a presence
Which had but been there all along!

6.
It seemed to be eclipsing his mind
And it felt so delicious
He felt the fingers of its thoughts
Pressing into him
Digging hard
Exploring all his patterns...
Making such strong and heady waves
And leaving him stunned and reeling!
Ideas turning into windmills, racing on
It touched his lost dreams, assuaged his fears
Made him realise so many things....

7.
What was this?
What is happening?
A figure twisted out of wax
Having such sudden control?
Yet, he was afeared that it would melt
So he kept it close to cold
Making sure no-one ever saw it
Nor even touched it.

8.
Months rolled by and he discovered
More life-like features on this thing
And when, the winter rolled to a close
He fretted so much and wrung his hands
Concerned for its survival.

9.
Yet what he failed to see
Was this mere figment of wish...
A kaleidoscopic fragment of himself
Projecting so powerfully.
He was often restless afore
Without really understanding why.

And with this 'new' presence
Helping him see what he needed all along
He found some release in toppling from reign: old, deep struggle.

10.
Snows melted and rain stopped
Sunrays still tame and people came
Icicles on the eaves dripped, like tears.
He dreaded the fierce rays would blister
All this hard, deserving work.

Yet, he always willing let things go before
He wouldn't let this go.
He couldn't.
So, he battled rather valiantly to save it
Yet, in vain.

(Well, he needn't have worried
For, as the sun blazed ridiculously hotter trails
Across the way
And fate saw he was willing to let go...
To understand, to finally see....
And then,
His translucent figure...started melting....

And there,
right before his very incredulous eyes
Out of it, stepped.......

gasp!

The impossible....)

sun may shine
upon the earth
yet, I will see you always
in every sphere

to me
you are so very beautiful

came in a vision...of half-sleep just now..

funny how life is, hey.

when ye least expect it, things happen....

sub-entry:

'gain galore'

1.
whichever way we look at it
certain things hardly happen.

when it does, regard well:
it is a pure .....gain galore.

2.
when we fail to entertain failure
there's only one option:
success.

So. You like me as your pastime?
Hmm, please take another look
And see there's a person attached to it
With a full life and dreams, fool!

Being such the ardent lover of liver
She alit the bus and sat square across a damsel
Carrying happy burden; spontaneous loss
And on this day, witness to the leaking full......

Teeming thoughts rage on inside
Sees a man spitting ceaseless into a mug
Spitting, spitting, spitting...!!
Now a china teacup .... is all she'll have.

Frustration climbs the walls like spiders
Leave behind dangling webs of duplicitous ire
Spray its viscous poison everywhere
A smack, an outburst; ugly scene.

Hard to see where it ends, where it starts
Tumultuous energy always kept in check
Surreptitious trafficking in serendipity
Split desires sport with silken threads.

Embracing pain which dominates so
Heartache elemental dogs every move
See you leave, go off alone
Hide high grievance, suffocate.

Seems this loveware needs reconfiguring
Sittin' pretty, like a duck in the water
Ain't the way; keeps the target on yer back
Life's sometimes quite the storm..... in a Chinese teacup!

Fancy some java?

:)

My fave is Earl Grey, then camomile, green ....

Tea is a great (meditative) companion, not so.
"Your eyes look wild," she says with tired concern.
It must be true, but it can't be helped.

My thoughts feel feral,
gnawing at themselves like a confused animal
with a wounded foot.

In your dream this morning you were running late,
fumbling with leather straps of equipment
that used to fit you better.

You heard their voices through the walls.
Sounds without form.
Your friends are skating on fresh ice.

Lonely, hungry, bleeding in the brush
the feral does not wish for company.
He does not remember he is alone.

But cold skin wishes for sun,
empty bellies whisper of food,
thirst does not ask, but orders a drink.
Your next breath is not a choice.

Life does not always find a way,
but Death does,
like water finding the end of every crack.

What Life finds it steals from Death,
and plays with like a toy,
until the toy becomes the player.
I dreamt of broken glass
A paper thin cut
And a bleeding heart
It pains to endure
An imaginary wound
I stay sound asleep
But the torment is real

I sense a kiss
On my cheek
Am I dreaming
Or is this really happening
I cannot tell
The difference
Whether
My eyes are kept shut
Or I am here to wake up

I squeeze my soul
Then, I am sure
I am dreaming
Reality
And I am realizing
This exquisite dream

Everything is quiet
My heart is playing
Music

For once
I am synchronized
A rarity I highly prize
Your soft kiss
On my cheek
Suddenly a potential
Of gluing back
This broken piece.
Dreaming comes to me easily
With intense lucid fluidity
Occuring in euphoric frequency

It is so inconceivably
Something I want to share intimately
Though the lack of study
And perfected technology
Stops me from being pleasantly
Reminded these wonders are for my eyes only
Someday
I will reveal this ethereal imagery
To growing society
So I wait
For this moment in history

Liam
define life for me
i feel i'm misunderstood
define me for life
Buzzing brains. Familiar clots,
I'll slur my way through second thoughts
blot out doubts with distilled friendships
          roll tonight into tomorrow's
           bottled sleep

Counting sheep until the ground leaps up
           to kiss these puckered features,
I'll appease habit with sacrificial dreams.

Face lowered
                                      head under-
neath; the miles fold into a hood.
Long-distance.
                                     **** tired.
of bleeding small amounts for greater good.

Quaking hands. Familiar shakes,
Five years remembered--fish for dates
Blurring hands held, smudging smiles
               cloud last night under today's
               soaked, waking sleep

Counting months until a year is up
then fade out of the foreground
and appeal for a new picture to see

Hands folded
                                         in pockets
I'm southbound. Quench my thirst. Walk back home
Long distance
                                          still learning
what it's like to face a year out here alone.
What she knows is safe;
the warmth wraps her tight
in a blanket of smoke.

A brief moments escape
from terrorizing thoughts
eating away her heart.
