I have scars in your memory,

Though Forgetting is hard,

When you left, the ground was frozen,
Shattered thoughts distracted,

Broken wings won't take us far,

We can forgive our selfish hearts,
But, that still won't make us fly

And not that we're depressed,
Make believe that scars that bleed,
Are wounds inside my head,

Haven't felt the pain,
Of broken hearts that fell apart,
The day that your mind changed

The words that we refuse to speak,
Linger on my mind,
Like rain on concrete,
We were formed to dry,
