Just Blowin Smoke

professor of nostalgia
demander of what's right
I can do in just a while
while others take all night
smarter and stronger than most
do you think this is a joke
am I being serious
or am I just blowin smoke

I can do a mile
in 3:45 flat
I am over 200 pounds
but I sure as hell ain't fat
I'll roll us up a fatty
and offer you a ****
then we can do a power hit
and keep on blowin smoke

my father was a hard-nosed cop
my mom a ballet dancer
he came home late one night
and caught this guy trying to pants her
he kicked his *** back and forth
and his jaw he severely broke
the dude said it doesn't hurt at all
he most surely was blowin smoke

I used to be a singer
in a rock and roller band
I could play a hot guitar
until I broke my hand
I dropped hot ash in my crotch
while trying to give this lass a poke
the wrist could not support my fall
now you know I'm blowin smoke

What a simple mess these words can be, are they real or just a breeze
I walk a mile and run for three but then its all over and history
Crazy is the world and crazy is me but none is so lazy as this simple plee
Hush all the noise listen and see, that my one wish is this and you to be free
Why all the fuss and rush and such, when all I want is my destiny
Cant we be still silent and ponder, what it all means to quietly wonder
Stumble we fall but soon and not far its only a quest of our serenity
Humble we are to travel this far to find its a journey for our sanity
Pleased to be back its not done just yet, for theres still that long flight in the sky
Heaven bound I sit in the clouds and find its been a hell of a ride.

i'll go almost creeping things

              and they'll be me

creep creeping rows of tiny
raising bumps(thoselittle
hairs climbing down your
tummy(almost no see 'em
hairs)but they catch softly
light in their trembling bodies
under my breathing breaths
(from the same mouth
                                tremendously
from that 1 mouth
                                 tremulously)

scoring twixt bunched petals
it creeps a hot gushing pallor

Invigorate the mind through the web that is your self conscious.
Twist and turn every thought into something that you see fit.
Whether it is positive or negative, force yourself into bliss.
And smile because you have no idea what to do with it.

Throw back the world with a blink of an eye.
Leave everything in the midst of the dust.
The dust is the remains when everything begins to die.
Leaving behind the fallen icons you used to trust

Wake up from your dream, insert the reality
Fall back into the day to day, 9 to 5 void you call life.
Fill the void, the blank canvas, the empty entity.
Solve your problems with a car, a dog, or even a wife.

So that was my poem, easy to see.
Just try once, to understand me.
