Just like landscape
Set in stone
Blend right in
Vaperous bones
You didn't see me
I already know

I wonder if angels cry.
When the scent of fornication smothers the air
And guilt consumes the careless hands immersed in the jar of sordid men. When children kiss blades, painted in their brother's blood. Drinking their mothers tears as though a precious tea.

I wonder if they use handkerchiefs or let rivers rise, feeding from their eyes.
Dancing in birth of the innocent youth, glimmering with hope and prosperity.

I wonder, I wonder.
sympathy and tranquillity form my perspective with each drop of ink, being careful not to spill

The heat is relentless
I wait around for dusk to arrive
While waiting for
Reprieve to arrive
While my father is fading
We are waiting
He is wading in
Still waters
Between the worlds
He says the words
Of peyote guides
In the crystalline skies
I saw in your soul
That time at the crossroads
And there are blue auras
About the land
I know not who
Heard echos spoken
They didn't see
How many are broken

I'm sick to death of me
living vicariously
through meaning-
less words like
a mocking bird
mocking a gull
on a wave-less shore
or a man without oars
(f)or a life (raft) on a lost
ship adrift in an angry sea
and no anchor or eyes
on the horizon somewhere
west of anywhere but here.

As we grew up
Together in the village
As young friends
In those dusty hills

Along the road
Gravity dragged us down
Gentle like autumn leaves
Either to fall in love
Or apart

And Life vicissitudes
Interfered
And I tried to play my part
From the core of my heart
Not to fall apart

Clearly
I was a fish falling in love with a bird
Living a dream of a hopeless heart
Impossible to fulfill

And hide and seek
The game we used to play
Down by the river side
And I realized
You’ve been always hiding behind lies
And I wonder why
