Valsa George
In the hush of a fading twilight eve
Heard the passionate crooning of a dove
Under the eaves it sat close to her love
What delight, that sound instantly gave

Sudden was the change it could impart
Brought forth a spurt of spontaneous delight
Lifting away all my sadness and regret,
It fell like rain into my lovelorn heart.

The heavens soon turned azure blue
In joy, my heart began to leap
It generated in me emotions too deep
Before me all beauty came into view.

I saw pearls of bright sheen on trees,
Resting wobbly on the edge of leaves
Felt the scent of opening flowers,
Fanned in bouts of wind and breeze

Watched the evening covering in shrouds
And the day paving way to night
In darkness fireflies dancing in delight
And the moon riding in the palanquin of clouds

In the open I sat long like a sculptured figure
Breathing the scent of the perfumed air
Experiencing a new gaiety in profuse measure
My heart brimming with umpteen desire

Brilliance of the light
Reflected by the miniature chips
In chiseled geometric stars
Mysterious and magnetic
The energy source
A burst of radiance

Raw

The sadness you see
On the walls
Painted in different hues
Unblemished sans the happy shade
It’s not the colour blue
Primarily it never could blend
Faded away
Under layers
The colour of no origin
Unblemished by the happy shade
Leaves a permanent stain
On the walls
Unedited thoughts

Cold mists and paper clips
A minuscule vapour cloud
Covers a story, neatly filed

Streams had dreams
The river knew of
Gently flowed into the bay

Warm water springs
The freezing cold lake
Shares the revelry

A beauty to behold
Damp air and Crystals of salt
Into the pan, white

Eleni
She licked her lips, incomprehensibly
A feverish dew, luminous beads
A mutual alacrity, unspoken melody-
That guides me to search deeper.

Magnetism without polarity
No witness to confess undue crimes
Healers unaware of their divine power-
Now we caress in our velvet hour.

Shackles and chains extinct from our desires
The birdsong and Sun continue their loops;
lacing together under luscious clefs
of bassy tones, arpeggiating.

The second is nigh that my senses explode
I am not frightened by this pensive moment
Let me drink from the chalice, Priestess
And absorb the sacred knowledge.
