Tears of the living for the Dying
Tears of a mother for a babies crying
Tears of a Lover for a Broken Heart
Tears of a Family Torn apart
Tears of those down with the Blues
Tears of those who just can choose
Tears of the Wandering lost Souls
Tears of the fears we often Hold
Tears of Tormented minds
Tears of a Tortured Kind...JMF 3/8/2015

Full Moon

Barefoot; each step sinking in mud
splashes of rain marry with
crimson drops in a puddle
of stormed waves
from an opened heaven

She kneels to the ground
simultaneously glancing
left, right, behind
cheeks blushed, her soul falling
as teardrops - her lowest ebb.

Ripping her cotton dress
she replaces blood soaked rags -
it’s been six days.

This war within herself
at only twelve years of age

Every nineteen days
her body a vessel; a period
of girlhood abruptly ends,
womanhood demurred.

Each & every month
persecuted;
Jesus nailed to a cross.

Amidst war-torn streets
fleeing torched homes
civil war displacing
orphaned sisters –
*****.
As militants continue to
prevail over children’s
innocence

Washing her sin away
red body fluids disperse
in mud, rain, water, soil -
her reflection lost
alongside any remaining dignity

On those same knees
Badriyyah pleads with God
to no longer bring forth
the fertility of conception
each cursed month.

Congolese civil wars
scraped away landscapes
Mother Nature
scraped away internal walls

& month after month
after month after month
this period endures
& a child of the night
stays hidden from sight.

The girls name “Bariyyah” in Arabic means ‘resembling the full moon.’
The word ‘*******’ has etymological routes relating to the ‘moon.’
So you have the completion of the synodic month relating to the motion of the moon each month.
"The Worst Period of Her Life" - Bring back dignity to these women. To donate £3 to ActionAid, text KIT to 70111. Having already fled war-torn conflict in Syria and the Congo, these girls and women suffer further humiliation every month as they cannot afford basic sanitary wear.

i don't understand how you feast with the wolves
and partake in the festives of painstaking fools
but all the while feeding the devil his food
you'll find there's a plate that's been saved just for you

A friend who's pain and sorrow
I do not know why for...
To mark this tragic Memory
I nailed Black Rose's on the Door

So Passers by may know....
That here's a Heart in pain
And all that pass should wish her
Kind thoughts of pain no More

And as time Passes By...
Petals fall off Dried
Taking with it.....*
*Each tear drop that's cried

Everytime I hear No, its always .......MY FAULT
As the Brain drags me down this train of illogic
Anxiety Loops in unending Circles Spun to the Tragic
What can go wrong, then to feel like.......
Life has ***** me, And why is it always my Fault

The FIST FLEW out of Nowhere, Sucker punched*
Slow motion falling as a..........
Childs head bounces off the ground
Awaking to throbbing Pain,
My Pants around my Knees,
And why is it always my Fault..

For those who know what I mean
Others can't know what we've seen
Even if Its both Bad and Yucky
*Childhood is for the lucky..........JMF  9/28/14

I wish I could write
All day and all night

I wish sleep i did not need
For upon my daydreams I could feed

I wish I had the power
To bloom more than just one flower

I wish I could be a real poet
So I could say "ye, I am and I know it"

I wish wishes came true
Like a genie giving three wishes, I'd only need two

I wish there was more to me.....
But it's time to return to reality
